Beautiful experience, beautiful places... If you decide to visit the Marche in the area between Pesaro and Urbino there is Gradara, a very characteristic medieval village, its fortress, the rooms where Paolo Malatesta and Francesca da Rimini met, the castle with all its story, the path of love, the walk of the patrol, is the whole story that surrounds it from Dante's canto V "Inferno"... Visited during the Christmas holidays it is all illuminated and characterized by songs and poetry...fascinating place of history and narratives...

The castle is well maintained and cared for, unfortunately the furnishings are not original. It is definitely worth it just for a walk in the village but I recommend the guided tour.

The Castle is privately owned but you can take a guided tour at set times. The visit lasts about an hour, the guide we met was very good at entertaining us and describing the castle. Unfortunately the furnishings present are from fairly recent times.

We were on holiday in Gradara. Paying 4 euros per night the tourist tax is madness. For those who have never seen it, I recommend seeing it. It is important to know what you are visiting beforehand and book the guided tour.

cucina tradizionale, semplice ma molto buona, personale e staff preparati simpatici e professionali, davvero molto molto bene. locale accogliente prezzi onesti. consigliatissimo (ps metto tre stelle perchè mi piace spaziare da osterie a ristoranti stellati, ma come cucina tradizionale vale 5 stelle!!!!)

Menù che soddisfa tutti dalla carne al pesce passando per le piadine, cibo buono e ingredienti freschi. La mia carbonara di pesce era molto buona e ricca così come le pappardelle al cinghiale, ottima la frittura di pesce. Il personale è gentile e accogliente. Il ristorante offre alcuni posti fuori e all'interno c'è aria condizionata per cui si sta benissimo. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.
