A lovely place in Piazza San Lorenzo in Lucina, which is beautiful. The gelato is good, but the coffee and desserts are a bit less so. Service at the counter and at the table is generally friendly but not exceptional. Prices are reasonable for the location and... the neighborhood.

A historic café in Rome, with outdoor seating in the piazza, just steps from Via del Corso. The gelato is delicious; I recommend the Marsala, marron glacé, yogurt, and the ever-present whipped cream.

I’m afraid to even type this because I know the weight of these words but … This was the best pizza that I’ve had in Italy. Over the course of a few trips to Italy, I’ve probably had close to 50 pizzas and this one takes the top spot. The biggest difference was the char. The crust and undercarriage was cooked to perfectly. Crispy, light, but pliable and delicious. The sauce and cheese were just as good as any other pizza that I’ve had - fresh and tasty. The diavola had a habanero glaze that provided an extra punch without being too spicy. It was satisfying but not overly filling. Special pie.

14/09/2025: We went here for an aperitif among the vines... the view, food, and wine were excellent! Perfect for sunset... They customized the menu for both those with allergies and pregnant women. The arrangement of the pallets holding the food could be slightly reconsidered; perhaps they were too big for the available space. The staff were very kind and helpful. We'll definitely be back!!!
30/08/2025: Aperitif in the vineyard. A lovely experience, with good food and wine. You have to accept the occasional bug and a bit of dirt, but that's part of the experience, in my opinion.
