Delicious burgers, excellent fries!!! The kitchen is clean and organized. I didn't give it 5 stars because it didn't have outdoor seating. It was located on a street with other street food establishments (also without outdoor seating). I'll definitely go back!

Top American Burgers Real Smashes

Well... good, but not worth the price

I had high expectations for this burger, and I'll start by saying I'm a smashburger lover and have tried many. The restaurant is located in the famous sidewalk kitchens, where there are several entrances where you can order. The seating is very basic, and you eat outside. One of these places is Chuck E. Its flagship product is the smashburger. I have to say I'm quite satisfied with the meat; it was good and cooked perfectly. Unfortunately, I can't say the same about everything else. The bread was tasteless, the cheese tasted like supermarket cheese, and the gherkins were cold. The welcome was also rather cold, unlike other similar places. The staff would often explain the product's characteristics and qualities. In conclusion, I think there are much better Smash Burgers in Milan, and this one has become famous on social media, but in reality, it's not that good.

I had the double smash, with added bacon, fries, and a 33-ounce can of beer... aside from the exorbitant price, since €26 is truly excessive, the sandwich is good, but the price isn't worth it, especially since the sandwich alone isn't filling. Furthermore, the hygienic conditions of the place leave much to be desired, and I felt immensely sorry for the guys (obviously all non-Italians, because I don't know how many would agree to work in that tunnel, and who knows how lowly they'd be paid) who were all crammed into a few square meters, sweating because there isn't even a window there except for the one to take orders... I hope my report helps.

the fries were amazing, one of the best fries in milan. the burger was good too but i personally would prefer if it had some vegetables.

Perhaps too much hype and therefore too high expectations. The meat was very good and had above-average flavor, but the burger was average, nothing exciting. The pickles were good but like many others, the onions lacked flavor, the sauce was nonexistent, and the cheese was very ordinary. The prices were high, especially considering the product and the type of place. I expected much more.

Chuck’s is set up as a little window where you order your food, but you’re welcome to sit at the café next door and enjoy it. I personally loved the burger; the smash style was spot on and super tasty. My partner wasn’t as impressed since it’s quite cheesy, but that really just comes down to personal preference. We both thought the fries were absolutely fantastic – perfectly crispy! Overall, a great spot if you’re into smash burgers and amazing fries!

The burgers are excellent, and the formula is excellent for a quick meal. Service, obviously, is nonexistent, though friendly. The outdoor seating isn't adequate for the traffic; the interior is adequate, but air conditioning wouldn't hurt.
