As a customer I was advised to sit down while we tried to order at counter. As we do not speak italian, only english and german, it was easier to order what we see and like. No worries, we went to sit down. Tables were not ready...all dirt around, food on table. I have asked tall waiter to prepare table and was disappointed by his appearance - I might have disturbed him 🥴
Food was actually tasty, short waiter was very nice, we liked Arancini, tiramisu, canolli, coffee. Before leaving, around 10 minutes before closure I could not even visit toalet - spending there around 50€ and not been able to use toilet because its 10 minutes to the closure. Leaving, some tourists were turned round wanting only coffee.. some disappointment

We went for gelato on Sunday... What can I say? I chose Passito di Pantelleria and Scioglievolezza. As the names suggest, they're two flavorful experiences, one better than the other!
The first, in particular, is a zabaglione swirled with Passito wine and raisins. I'll definitely be back!

Good cannoli, good tiramisu.
Too bad the bathroom was disgusting, barely usable. No toilet paper. Pee everywhere. Hygiene was zero!!

I visited Ferlito for the first time in 2016 after getting attracted by Johnny sitting in the front door. I came back in 2025, Johnny is no longer waiting by the door.. but the pastries and ice cream still taste good as I remembered. 5 ⭐️ for ice cream. 1000 ⭐️ for Johnny, you are missed 💗

I've never had such a good tiramisu.
My girlfriend had a sublime caramel cheesecake.
The gelato was also excellent.
I'll definitely be back to try the savory options too.

I stopped here for an aperitif and I had none of the bad experiences that some travellers experienced. It's a great location in the most elegant street of Trapani and ideal for a quick bite or a drink. The complete apertif I had was a little on the mean side I admit consisting of a few peanuts a couple of olives, some crisps and a cut up pizza, but the drink was good, bit the service was swift and efficient and location excellent. In the end wherever you go if you stop at a centrally located café you pay more for the atmosphere than anything else.
