Walking through Caserta, we found ourselves passing via Tanucci around 2pm, when the street was practically deserted and the only place open was Pasticceria Chirico. We didn't miss the opportunity and decided to go in for a break. Let's start with the pizza: we found it really good, rustic and tasty. A real surprise in a pastry shop that, in addition to sweets, also offers savory products! After enjoying the pizza, we sat down at the table to try the desserts. We chose the babàronata, which however I found a little too sweet for my tastes, and the cocoa millefeuille, which, although not exceptional, turned out to be a good choice. However, the desserts are of high quality. The service was fast and the staff very helpful. Prices are average, fair for the quality offered, both for savory and sweet products.
