Great news! Redevelopment of the Villa's former greenhouses will begin next September. The project, costing €550,000, completes the enhancement project undertaken within the park in recent years. This space will be used for various purposes and will be able to host various initiatives, such as botanical and creative workshops, cultural events, and art classes.

Great place for a walk. Lots of benches, near the lake there is a playground for children. After passing the park there is a descent to the beach accessible for strollers. The park is very well maintained and has beautiful views of the mountains and the lake. I recommend it, it is worth a visit.

18/07/2025: It's definitely not cheap, but it's worth it, especially for wine lovers. The food is beautifully presented, the flavors are fantastic, and finally, when I order a dish, I get a truffle the way it should be, not just some truffle shavings. We were there with an 8-year-old child, so he was full and happy, especially after dessert. Delicious prosecco with herbs and a small starter. Minus one star for the service, as the wait between meals is longer with more people, but it's worth the wait.
20/06/2025: Lovely evening meal at this restaurant. Nice and cool in the garden shaded by grape vines. Staff were attentive and helpful. I would recommend visiting.

02/06/2025: Eravamo in visita a Villa Taranto ed abbiamo deciso di fare una passeggiata lungo la ciclabile che porta fino a Pallanza. Una bella camminata poco più di 2km. Arrivati davanti al locale abbiamovisto i tavolini a bordo lago,Un po perplessi perchè sulla strada, ma l'ombra, la vista di Stresa e l'appetito ci ha fatto prendere la decisione senza andare a vedere altri locali. La scelta è stata ottima, prezzo è qualità perfettamente in linea. Piatti ben cucinati e materia prima ottima . Abbiamo preso due antipasti, e due primi, . entrambi ottimi (vedi foto) . Alcuni primi fatta in casa anche la pasta, ottimi i dolci. Dopo aver mangiato abbiamo fatto ancora due passi lungo piazz Garibaldi, ed alla fine il Burchiello ci è sembrato il meno "turistico", il menu è composto di pochi piatti e non 30 o 40 come gli altri ... Consigliato.
31/03/2025: Non avendo prenotato non abbiamo potuto pranzare sulla terrazza... la vista deve essere bellissima direttamente sul lago... Servizio buono, noi siamo arrivati abbastanza presto e non abbiamo atteso molto l'arrivo dei piatti, dopo credo che la cucina fosse un pò in affanno per i tanti tavoli da servire. Abbiamo mangiato bene, il crudo di trota molto buono, così anche il branzino al cartoccio. Deludente la torta di mele, ottimo il tiramisù.
