The coffee is average, but Samuele's aperitivo is where he really excels. The sbagliato is spot on, and the pizzas are very good. As for the restaurant, I'll give it a review when I get there. Good ones anyway.

The food here is delicious and the prices are very reasonable. The ambiance is quite simple, but the view of Tuscany is breathtaking. Highly recommended!

13/11/2025: I went to this restaurant and had a tasting menu... The price was really okay, but I had different expectations for the food...
27/07/2025: In a very simple setting (but with a cloth tablecloth), the menu offers a few courses that vary throughout the weeks. It's mostly fish, but also features a few meat dishes. I go there about once a year and always enjoy the well-prepared dishes, whether it's the traditional fried fish or the chef's more unusual creations. The informal but always friendly waiters make guests feel at ease.

08/09/2025: On our way back from a visit to the superb Verrucole Fortress (which I highly recommend), we stopped here for a bite to eat. The choice was between sandwiches and a platter, and we opted for the latter. The platter, for two, was generous with excellent cured meats—the lardo in particular was divine—and cheeses, accompanied by a small bowl of excellent local honey and sweet and sour pickled onions. A delicious homemade bread and focaccia completed this delicious meal overlooking Mount Pisanino.
