We've been vacationing in Pizzo for 3 years, a must for us is staying with you at least twice. Quiet restaurant in a side street, very good food and always cheerful staff. Which isn't always easy since we come from the catering industry ourselves. See you next year. Greetings from Bavaria.

This is a Fabulous local eatery, the food, the staff and the environment are all excellent! We’ve eaten here numerous times and the Chili Pepper just doesn’t disappoint! Highly recommend!

Delicious food away from the crowds! The Calabrian specialty (pasta with nduja and pecorino) is highly recommended if you like it spicy. Fish plate was also delicious, waiters are friendly and even speak a bit of English.

Camminando per una stradina di pizzo, ci siamo imbattuti in questa trattoria è stata una esperienza piacevole abbiamo mangiato benissimo con specialità locali.

Wunderbar frischen Pulpo gegessen. Zart mit einem Hauch von Schärfe. Davor die Antipasti in liebevollen kleinen Schälchen angerichtet. Highlight hier die wunderbare Melanzane parmigiana. Erwähnenswert ist auch die liebenswerte Betreuung der Kellner, die gute Beratung. Man sitzt in den alten Gassen Pizzos. Sieht den vorbeieilenden Passanten zu. Ich kann dieses Restaurant nur empfehlen

Ristorante da Nico e Lilly

22/03/2025: “More appearance than reality” - that describes this restaurant quite well. It looks stylish from the outside, but unfortunately the food doesn't live up to expectations - the price/performance ratio isn't right. The portion of the ravioli with shrimp and truffle was incredibly small and was eaten within two minutes (22 euros!), and some of the pasta was cold and had apparently been warmed up. The “hamburger” (according to the menu) only consisted of meat + fries (tasted okay), only the pork sausages with baked potatoes were convincing. In some cases a new decision was necessary because several dishes and drinks on the menu were not available. In my opinion, it doesn't fit with the stylish ambience if you get your Coke in a can. The service was solid and the waiter was friendly. Overall, unfortunately not a recommendation.
10/03/2025: The interior is modern, without an Italian atmosphere, the food is ok, the prices are high, the waiter is very polite
