For me, this is truly the best restaurant in Pizzo. Not a "tourist trap," meaning top quality and fair prices. Very friendly owner and his staff.

A round of applause to all the staff. Very fast service, all our requests were met, all the courses simple but excellent from the first courses of land to the second courses of fish, as well as the top Calabrian appetizer! Thanks for the Calabrian style that you can feel inside the restaurant and in the dishes

Very good food. I had spaghetti vongole with lots of clams. The price was very fair. Drinks weren't too expensive. The restrooms were very clean and new.

I had Fileja alla scoglio, very well seasoned. Lots of seafood. An Aperol Spritz for 6 euros. Very tasty food, keep up the good work. The restroom was spotlessly clean and freshly mopped. Everything is just perfect here. I'd gladly go back.

The seafood scialatielli had too much water at the bottom for our tastes, and the seafood did not convince us in terms of quality. The Pizzitana anchovies, however, are very good. We ate at one of the tables on the street. We went back and this time I had the gnocchi with octopus and cherry tomatoes and the calamari with cream of potatoes and caramelized onion, both good dishes. The anchovies Pizzitana that my partner had are always very good. But €20 for two meatballs with anchovies and another €20 for two pieces of squid and a little more seemed just a little expensive to us. Still good, we might go back again

Excellent welcome, very kind staff and truly remarkable dishes! Recommended by locals, this restaurant offers delicious fish dishes, try it to believe it. We will definitely be back at our next stop in Pizzo! Thanks to Luciano and his cuisine!

The restaurant provided us with a table so that we wouldn't have to wait any longer, they were very nice, they made delicious fritto misto and panini for us (including the ingredients according to our preferences and reduced its price). It's really worth coming here

El Chili Pepper es nuestro restaurante favorito en Pizzo! Hemos probado casi todo en el menú y nunca nos ha decepcionado. La selección de vinos es encantador y el propietario y el personal son de primera categoría!

02/05/2025: Last week I had the pleasure of having lunch at this restaurant. We were greeted by smiling and helpful staff and owner. The service was very fast and attentive. As an appetizer I took the Calabrian-scented octopus with celery, bamboo heart, Marsala raisins, fresh tomato, dehydrated orange flakes. A delight for the palate. The mango linguine with red prawns, bacon, Calabrian pecorino and nduja, very good. The owner showed me the piece of fresh swordfish and I ordered it. They served it with porcini mushrooms, potato chips and fresh cherry tomatoes, it was excellent! As well as the roasted octopus with onion and oranges. The balance of flavors is expertly dosed in all dishes. I promised myself I would return soon. I asked for a chocolate with coffee and the lady brought me them in different flavours. Quality and courtesy distinguish this place. The place is small and clean. The bathroom is unique for both sexes but clean and compliant. I highly recommend this place.
