09/03/2026: I've been there once for after-dinner drinks and once for a snack, and both times my experience was just OK, nothing special. The waiters are rude and slow, and the desserts have always been a 50/50 affair for me, as we've always ordered more than one item to sample different options, some being good and some being bad. For example, the so-called "Brookies" were a pleasant surprise; I really liked them, but I warn you that they're still very sweet, so those looking for something more balanced will definitely not like them. The churros, on the other hand, were awful; in fact, they can't even be called churros because they're actually biscuits similar to ladyfingers sold as churros with a sauce on the side. The cinnamon rolls were another pleasant surprise, but still very sweet, so they're fine for me, but I understand that they might be a bit too much for others. The carrot cake is definitely to be avoided; the batter was heavy, very artificial, and not at all like a real carrot cake.
I'd gladly return to try these specific desserts, but it's something to do once in a while, not a place I'd go often.
07/03/2026: Disappointing. The idea of decorating the place in a theme was nice, but the decorations were mostly limited to the outside and the front room. We went after dinner for dessert; the place was packed. Maybe we would have had better luck with the desserts on the classic menu, but we decided to order the Harry Potter-themed ones. The cheesecake was good, but very heavy. The cake was nice, very themed, but taste-wise, nothing special. It was supposed to be personalized with your name, but they forgot. The waiters were rushed; one left in the middle of our orders, the other left a plate on the table without saying a word. The tea selection was original; the tea service was simple, but I would have avoided using a stained teapot in front of us. With the price they charge for a single portion, I would expect more attention to detail and service. It's okay that it's crowded, but I'd prefer if you made me wait five minutes longer, but at least looked at me when you served me. The prices were high, at least for what we got.
