My partner and I dined here a few nights ago and had an excellent evening. The food was delicious, the service was courteous and discreet, and the atmosphere was refined and relaxing. Special mention: we spent a week in Roccaraso on a skiing holiday and contacted numerous establishments (ski rentals, ski passes, hotels, shops, and various restaurants), and this restaurant was the only place where we were treated with genuine kindness and respect.

Excellent dinner. I tried the Truffle tasting menu, and all the dishes were well-executed and delicious. Perhaps I'd include dessert in the tasting menu, as is often the case in similar settings. Prices are in line with, if not lower than, other restaurants of the same caliber, and absolutely in keeping with the offerings.
Definitely worth returning to when in the area.

The place itself feels very cold and lacks character (completely white walls). The service is very good, although I would
better highlight what they bring to the table and not just list what's in the dish (for example, by stating the cooking method used or highlighting the origin of a particular product). The food is good, but if you're a Michelin-starred restaurant that doesn't yet have a star, you can't afford the prices of a Michelin-starred restaurant. An artichoke costs €20; I expected much more (a fried artichoke with grated pecorino cheese on top). Basically, you can see the quality, but the prices are definitely too high in my opinion.

If you're passing through Roccaraso—winter after skiing or summer after a hike in the Monte Greco woods—don't miss the opportunity to have dinner (or lunch!) at Chi Chi Bio. I stumbled upon it almost by accident and had an excellent food and wine experience. Quality food, knowledgeable staff, and a reasonable wait. I highly recommend it.

Always a pleasure to return
When we vacation in Roccaraso, this restaurant is a must-visit. Definitely the best restaurant in town.
Very small, so reservations are required.
Beautiful interior decor and attentive, courteous service.
The dishes are all surprising, with superbly balanced combinations. The chef's expert hand in the kitchen is evident.
The quality/price ratio is more than satisfactory.
