25/04/2025: I had been to this restaurant a long long time ago, certainly after the year 2013 which marked a terrible watershed in my life. I had gone with Luciana... my radiologist friend who was trying to bring my mood back above the threshold of the bare minimum for survival. Obviously - like all the matters that occurred in that period - they fell into a remote corner of my memory. At the time (perhaps the management was also different) I noticed the peculiarity of the environment, a mezzanine and furnished with minimalism and taste. By chance it came back to mind while passing by via Staffette Partigiane, so last night I booked: me and a university friend of mine, just to unwind for a moment and have a quiet chat. I must say that the quality of the food was decidedly good. The service was impeccable (I really appreciate it when they change my cutlery if it's too dirty, between one course and the next). The owner was a polite but constant presence. In short, out of the center, but worthy of note. Must try...I'll be back.

Thanks to The Fork we came across a real surprise. The place is very nice, especially inside, although taking advantage of a pleasant spring evening we preferred to sit outside. Both the owner and the staff were extremely courteous and friendly. We had two appetizers: battered courgette flowers and spinach flan with parmesan cream; then we continued with two second courses: pork cheek and sliced beef with vegetables; to conclude, two hazelnut fregolotte, a coffee and a grappa, after accompanying dinner with an excellent cerasuolo di Vittoria.
Well: in addition to being well presented, the dishes were all sublime. The courgette flowers in batter are perfectly crunchy, without any excess; the simply amazing flan, enriched with crispy bacon; the pork cheek was truly melting, very tender like we had tried it few other times and also enriched with crispy bacon; the cut of beef of the highest quality and extremely abundant, cooked exactly as indicated. I would have preferred the fregolotta with the crumble on the bottom simply for a personal taste, but this too was really excellent. Frankly, I didn't expect such a high level: excellent quality/price ratio. Really good everyone! I can't wait for the evenings with live music announced by the owner to begin. We will definitely be back! Experience to try
