Excellent cuisine. Attentive service. Unfortunate location, unfortunately: lighting needs to be significantly improved. Very messy place with no personality. A kitchen of this level deserves and needs another type of location. Won't be back.

ChiaroScuro is a Sardinian culinary masterpiece! During my visit, I was blown away by the variety and excellence of every dish I tried. Each plate was a work of art, blending Sardinian tradition with modern creativity: • Pane Frattau: A beautiful and flavorful start, rich and perfectly balanced. • Quaglia (Quail): Tender and flavorful, cooked to perfection. • Fileu: A delightful handmade pasta dish showcasing incredible textures and flavors. • Cervello (Brain): Unique and perfectly executed, a dish that truly highlights the chef’s skill. • Sebada: The classic Sardinian dessert, perfectly fried and paired with aromatic honey. • Cannolo: A sweet surprise, crispy and filled with creamy goodness. • Minestrone: Comforting and hearty, with fresh, local ingredients. • Stecco: A fun and creative dessert to finish off an amazing meal. The service was impeccable, with staff who were knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about the food. The ambiance added to the experience—a cozy yet elegant setting perfect for savoring such exquisite dishes. ChiaroScuro is not just a restaurant but an experience, and it’s worth every moment and every bite. Highly recommended for anyone in Cagliari looking for the best of Sardinian cuisine with a twist! Restaurant worthy of two or three Michelin stars! Very simple in appearance, if you are not warned you will not suspect anything. We took the tasting menu (€65) and we didn't regret it. You can of course also choose à la carte. The suckling pig, the veal broth with Filideu...Mammamia! Incredible value for money. Even the wines are reasonable, let yourself be guided. A table not to be missed! No terrace so Green Pass required.

Este lugar es absolutamente increíble. Qué gran hallazgo. Comida fabulosa, buen vino, ambiente encantador y personal muy amable. Ciertamente nos encantó cada bocado. No te lo pierdas. Valor brillante también, teniendo en cuenta la calidad de la comida.

The ambience is not that great, the sterile white lighting makes it unromantic. The jazz music was fine! I often go to michelin restaurants, but was underwhelmed by some of the food. The fried sweet breads, gazpacho, watermelon and tomato ice cream and the appetiser were great. The special pasta soup and the dessert with honey were boring.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant and I must say that the experience was truly exceptional. From the start, the staff were extremely friendly and professional, welcoming us warmly and ensuring we were comfortable throughout the evening. As for the dishes, the quality was unquestionably high. Each course was prepared with care and attention to detail, with balanced flavors and very fresh ingredients. The presentation of the dishes, as can be seen from the images, was extremely refined, making each course a small work of art. Another positive aspect was the excellent value for money. Considering the quality of the dishes and the service offered, the prices were absolutely adequate. In conclusion, I highly recommend this restaurant for both a special dinner and a more casual occasion. I will definitely be back soon!

Superb. I have nothing else to add.

I chose the menu 'A Mano libero Dello chef' and chose the wine accompaniment, which explains the price. I had a wonderful evening with very good food and matching wines. It was a pleasant mix of local specialties (pork, culugiones) and our own interpretations from the kitchen. I was able to enjoy every dish and every now and then I would be pleasantly surprised by a dish. The service at ChiaroScuro was simply great, I was guided through the menu perfectly and small conversations on the sidelines were very welcome and seemed honest and friendly. In short: I really enjoyed the evening and was a successful end to my Cagliari trip. I'm thinking about spontaneously going back one evening later and eating à la carte. Cibo ottimo. Attenzione in tutto, dell'accoglienza alla spiegazione dei piatti fino alla scelta dei vini. I prezzi sono in linea e secondo me anche più bassi rispetto ad altri locali dove non hai lo stesso trattamento. Coperto 4 euro, ma con pane e grissini home made, cambio posate, piccola entrè e mousse all'olio. Ottimo è dir poco.
