Chez Pierina In Chamois

Beautiful views and refreshing beer. I felt sorry for the boy that served us because he was told off in front of customers because he had filled the beer glass a little too much.

Opened in 1975 by Pierina, the grandmother with the famous wood-fired polenta; today it is lovingly managed by Eugenia and her granddaughters Sara and Marta, who continue the tradition. the chalet is made of stone and wood; the interior is warm and welcoming and consists of a single room with dividing walls. There is a flowered summer terrace with a mountain view. You can taste typical Aosta Valley specialties and they are really generous portions for the honestly very competitive cost. You can only get there by cable car or on foot, since this municipality does not allow vehicle circulation; it is an excellent starting and finishing point for surrounding excursions. The staff is extremely kind and available for every request; booking is absolutely essential as it is very popular. Recommended!

There are few places that leave a mark, and Chez Pierina is undoubtedly one of them! A lovely place and excellent cuisine. Dishes prepared with care and wisdom and given the height above sea level, and therefore the proximity to the sky, it is certainly credible to assert that they are performed by the hand of an angel!

Typical Aosta Valley menu masterfully interpreted and created. Very popular place for lunch even during the week, better to book. Even though we couldn't find a seat, we were able to book for 2:30 pm and we had lunch anyway, with great satisfaction!

Even though the staff was busy with a crew that was shooting a film (or documentary I don't know) and the place was quite full, they were all very kind and very efficient. The dishes arrived quickly and we all liked them. The bread soup is amazing and I publicly renew the compliments made on the spot to the author of this perfection. Prices absolutely in line with the local average but with a quality/price ratio clearly superior to the other restaurants tried. If you happen to be in Chamois you cannot miss trying the cuisine of "Chez Pierina"

raggiunto il locale dopo uan ciaspolata dalla Magdaleine ci siamo rintanati per assaggiare piatti locali in una bella atmosfera di montagna. La calda accoglienza di Pierina ha fatto il resto. menù tipico e servizio impeccabile. Provata la zuppa valpellinese in crosta, polenta affettati e formaggi ...tutto accompagnato da un buon vino rosso. abbiamo pranzato all'interno ma d'estate si può mangiare anche all'aperto. Se venite a Chamois fermatevi e non vi pentirete.

Siamo stati in questo posto particolare la location chamois raggiungibile solo o a piedi o con funivia( noi abbiamo scelto quetsa).ristorante carino ben curato piatti tipici buoni fatti al momento...consigliatissimo
