A must-visit for sampling traditional dishes and local produce from Chamois and the surrounding area. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Reservations are recommended.

A very charming place, nestled in a breathtaking view. We ate outside, taking advantage of a beautiful day, and the atmosphere was truly special. We started with a platter of cured meats and cheeses for two: a great appetizer to share, especially if you appreciate aged cheeses and specialty cured meats.
Next, we had two polenta concia dishes: one with sausage and cabbage, the other with venison. I personally don't like game, so I chose the sausage... too bad it was a bit cold and had more cabbage than meat. Overall, however, the dishes were tasty.
With two beers and a water, the bill came to around €65, a fair price considering the quality and, above all, the beauty of the place.
The staff is incredibly kind, truly appreciated. Overall, an experience worth trying, with a little room for improvement on my portion.

A guarantee. The dishes are typical of the Aosta Valley, but the quality, preparation, and variety are significantly superior to other restaurants in the valley.
It's no coincidence that booking ahead is essential.
The indoor and outdoor setting is truly delightful.
And what can we say about the courtesy and helpfulness of all the staff?
It's impossible not to return.

Everything was exceptional!
We stopped for lunch: the Valdostane crepes and tagliolini with hare ragù were truly excellent. The venison and roe deer were equally delicious, not to mention the polenta concia! The homemade desserts also rounded out the meal perfectly.
Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back!

Trip to Chamois and then to Lake Lod
For lunch, we chose this trattoria, where we ate a lot and everything was delicious. We're not used to eating so much, but we made an effort because of the deliciousness of these dishes. Generous portions and very kind staff.

We went on a very busy day.
The downside is that from the time we sat down to the time they brought us the menu to order, more than 15 minutes passed. This didn't happen at the tables near ours.

Mi avevano parlato benissimo di questo locale, ora che ci sono stato posso confermare tutto. Titolare gentilissima. Piatto molto ben curati. Polenta eccezionale, una delle più buone che abbia mai assaggiato. Da provare!

raggiunto il locale dopo uan ciaspolata dalla Magdaleine ci siamo rintanati per assaggiare piatti locali in una bella atmosfera di montagna.
La calda accoglienza di Pierina ha fatto il resto.
menù tipico e servizio impeccabile. Provata la zuppa valpellinese in crosta, polenta affettati e formaggi ...tutto accompagnato da un buon vino rosso.
abbiamo pranzato all'interno ma d'estate si può mangiare anche all'aperto.
Se venite a Chamois fermatevi e non vi pentirete.
