Chez Mes Amis In Vicopisano

Tonight we went to dinner at this place, which I've known for years and have passed countless times, but never stopped in. There's no specific reason; in fact, it's always attracted me, and we finally found the opportunity. From the outside, the entrance is very pretty, with two doors leading into the place: upon entering, you'll find the first room on the right, a little further on the left is the bar area with the pizza oven, and further on is the larger room. The place is very charming and friendly, quiet, well-maintained, clean, and inviting. The menu is available à la carte or you can choose from set menus that include everything from appetizer to dessert. You'll find several dishes with a wide selection: we had a house appetizer and a vegetarian one. A pasta dish, two pizzas, a small focaccia with only ham (which arrived piping hot)—delicious!—a Sacher torte, a profiteroles, two coffees, a medium beer, and a bottle of water. The price seemed fair and justified, not at all excessive, considering there were three of us and we left the table with full bellies. The staff was very kind and helpful, always present. The food was all good, we ate really well.

I have had the pleasure of being invited to a wedding celebration held at Chez mes amis and I have really enjoyed both the excellent food and the welcoming, cosy atmosphere. Service: excellent! Everything was good and tasty. In particular, I liked the "risotto all' ortica", the meat dishes ("cinghiale in umido con olive" and the "tagliata"). Also the lasagna was special. Overall a very positive experience.

We ended up here by chance as a couple and were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is super authentic and offers many Italian classics, just the way you'd expect them. The service was friendly and even accommodated our small special requests without any problems. Particularly charming: a funny misunderstanding when we asked for fresh tomatoes and were almost served ketchup – that put us in a good mood. 😊 The food itself was great – authentic, delicious, and exactly what we were hoping for in Italy. Tip: It's worth making a reservation via Google; you'll even get a personalized menu and the option to sit outside. Highly recommended!

Very tasty food: spaghetti Bolognese, spaghetti carbonara, sausage pizza, and steak with arugula and Parmesan. Very good value for money!

The service was very good and the price/performance ratio was very good. There's plenty of parking within 200 meters. We went out with people for €100. It's also suitable for large families. Order the menu in Italian or English via tablet at your table. Cool

Il sig.Umberto,titolare,si è subito dimostrato una persona squisita e altruista! Menù sia di carne,che di pesce e anche menù degustazione,se si vuole. Risotto all'ortica,ravioli spinaci con sugo di noci, filetto di maiale, tiramisù,creme caramel, ecc....tutto cucinato in maniera casalinga,ma ottima! È anche pizzeria e ha più di una sala da pranzo. Prezzi qualità/quantità più che buoni!!!!
