We stumbled upon it by chance... the owner is professional, capable, and friendly, and his 51 years of experience are evident. Excellent food, high-quality, traditional Aosta Valley cuisine. Very fair prices. We'll definitely be back!

I found this restaurant by chance on my way home from vacation, and I think it was a wonderful discovery. The menu is typical of the area, and all the dishes we ordered were delicious. Highly recommended!

This restaurant was recommended to us, we found a table (reservations are highly recommended!), and we're truly delighted with an excellent, plentiful, and reasonably priced dinner. The view was beautiful, the waiters were friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The dishes were typical of the Aosta Valley. Highly recommended.

Found it by chance on our way back from a hike. Even though the place was almost full, they still found us a spot to eat. The Valdostana-style scallops were delicious, accompanied by baked potatoes and delicious green beans. The service was impeccable and very friendly. We'll be back as soon as possible.

Stopped there for lunch during a bike tour. Very good food; I had venison carpaccio and truffle pasta. Lovely terrace, but the interior is showing its age. Friendly, personal service. Local regulars, which speaks volumes. Highly recommended.

St. André Cafè Restaurant

27/01/2026: I was planning on making a reservation for dinner, but we had to go in to see the menu because it wasn't displayed at the entrance or outside (😉). We had to search for it under the visibly annoyed gaze of the owner (the proverbial Aosta Valley welcome 😢). Prices were like jewelry stores, so on my way out, my eye fell on a freezer in plain sight in the bar area, a chest-type freezer with glass through which I could glimpse every type of frozen dish... Too bad there wasn't an asterisk on the menu (we remind the owner that frozen products must be declared on the menu, as the very amusing Article 515 of the Italian Criminal Code applies, which punishes commercial fraud, where these products are served and are listed). So I opted for another restaurant, preferring FRESH specialties at much lower prices. If I really want to eat frozen ones, I'll eat them at home (or maybe not even at home). Best regards

21/01/2026: Spacious room and spectacular panoramic view. Very kind owners, dinner and breakfast were all very good.
18/01/2026: Simply a fantastic experience! The restaurant is located at 1,480 meters, with a warm, characteristic mountain interior. The staff is truly friendly and makes you feel right at home, in a familiar and welcoming atmosphere. The food is incredible: everything is delicious, homemade with excellent quality ingredients. The portions are generous and the prices are absolutely fair. The fondue gnocchi are truly magical, while the polenta with meats is breathtaking. All this is accompanied by a wonderful view of Mont Blanc, which makes the experience even more special. It's not a tourist restaurant. Here, the cuisine is authentic local! I highly recommend it, I'll definitely be back!
