We had a great experience about 10 days ago, and we're going back today. I ordered pan-fried wild vegetables and cappelletti with truffle, both excellent. My husband had mixed crostini and gratinated vegetables...he was also very satisfied. The olive oil they produce is excellent...as I wrote at the beginning, I've been back and am updating my review now after seeing the place better. Inside, it was a bit chilly; we were in the largest room. If I could give one piece of advice, I'd light the fireplace; it's quite atmospheric. The lady serving is welcoming, and the place has a rustic, informal trattoria feel, which I like. Today we tried mixed mushroom crostini, which were delicious, and ricotta tart with truffle, delicious!!! Then we had two orzotti with sausage and porcini mushrooms...excellent. Thanks to the restaurant owners.

Unfortunately, it didn't go well. We ordered two plates of cappelletti with ragù and received two plates of cappelletti with truffle. I even accepted the exchange, but my wife, who doesn't like truffle, asked for the ones with ragù. However, both her first and second courses were so overcooked and mushy that they had lost their mince. I'd say that in Romagna, they're unpresentable. Also, they're a bit sparse and a bit overpriced.

31/03/2026: I went to Cinque Cucchiai for a midweek dinner as a couple and had a very pleasant experience! The atmosphere is quiet and relaxed, ideal during the week. The location is elegant and refined, perfect for a quiet dinner for two. The cuisine stands out for the quality of the ingredients and the presentation of the dishes: we chose mainly fish and were satisfied, with well-balanced flavors and adequate portions. The menu was also interesting, combining research and substance. The service was courteous and discreet, with just the right amount of time between courses, which is not always a given. The prices are in line with the service, the quality of the food, and the atmosphere. I recommend it especially for a dinner for two during the week, when the atmosphere and service are most appreciated.
17/03/2026: Fine food. Very nice atmosphere both inside and out. Service is very friendly, but sometimes slow, due to the large number of tables.

25/01/2026: A true gem in the heart of Faenza! I came to Enoteca Astorre after an invitation from a dear local friend, and I left completely won over. We ate divinely: meticulously prepared dishes, refined yet not overdone, with excellent ingredients and a balance of flavors that makes you say "wow" with every forkful. Everything was incredibly fresh, perfectly cooked, and presented elegantly but never overdone. I tried appetizers, first courses, and second courses, and not a single dish was less than a 10—the food was truly delicious! The service was impeccable: friendly, attentive, and professional, but never cold or distant. They attentively looked after us, offering us timely wine recommendations (and the menu is impressive, with interesting selections even by the glass). You can taste the passion and attention to detail. The setting is also stunning: a historic venue in a beautiful building in Piazza della Libertà, tastefully furnished, meticulously maintained, with a warm, elegant yet welcoming atmosphere, perfect for a romantic dinner or dinner with friends. There are only a few seats, so you can eat in peace and quiet. In short: a place that deserves all 5 stars and more. I will definitely be back and recommend it to anyone passing through Faenza who wants to eat well, feel pampered, and enjoy a splendid atmosphere. Well done! Thank you so much for the wonderful evening! 🍷🍽️
