Holiday season = inevitable chaos. I've already said enough about the excessively high prices at Italian service stations, and there's no point in bringing them up again. However, at least at this service station, I have to say that the service makes up for the price. The service I've encountered has been truly excellent. Congratulations. Sometimes you pay a lot and end up dealing with pissed-off people who seem to bother you. In this case, kindness and a smile perfectly offset the Michelin-starred prices.

I stopped on my way to my vacation destination.
I had a Nutella muffin, which I must say was very good.
The service was fast and accurate, and I found the restrooms clean.

A classic service station, albeit run by express chefs, so the prices are high, as if they were taking advantage of you. You won't pay 2.20 for a takeaway American coffee, even in the city center. Where's the consumer association when you need it? Besides, if you want to stretch your legs on a 5.5-hour journey and gorge on something, you have no other choice... pitiful!!!
Oh, I forgot, and to top it all off, there's MCmorte inside...

We stopped along the way. A grocery store, sweets, selling pizza and bagels and Mc Donald.
Horrible! Dirty tables, floors and toilets a disaster.

🍽 Fast-food, café and shop at a large rest area on the A4 motorway towards Trieste. Good range of food and drinks. Unfortunately, it is often crowded with passengers, so moving around the shop, ordering something or just going to the toilet is a real struggle. The poor quality of cleaning and the mess correspond to the Italian standard of motorway rest areas... 🤮
