A friend recommended the restaurant to us and was extremely pleased with it, and I can only confirm it. Everything was excellent and reasonably priced. We had artichokes Roman-style and Jewish-style, carbonara, amatriciana, ravioli with meat sauce, tagliolini with tomato sauce, and fried fish. To finish, a dessert with a warm center covered in pistachio cream. We were very satisfied, we'll be back.

We celebrated my children's birthday. I'd really wanted to come to this restaurant because everyone in Rome knows it, it's a famous, historic venue. The atmosphere was very, very beautiful, the fireplace was unfortunately "out." The food was so-so, poorly presented, with little attention to detail. I expected much, much more. The appetizers were poorly presented, the first courses were good, the second course was good, the cake was unfortunately terrible, and I'm one of those people who only waits for dessert. The staff were very friendly, they should pay more attention to the service, the wine should never run out of water at the table. I'll be back with the hope of giving it 5 stars. We need to change gear.

Honestly, I expected better. It's a historic place, the service is disorganized. The food is a fish-based starter and main course (their signature dish, fried artichoke with calamari, according to them), but everything tasted less like the two ingredients. What a shame! I'll try again, but not on Sunday!

We celebrated my father's birthday here. The service was excellent, the waiters were very polite, professional, but friendly and courteous. The place is still the same as it was 20 years ago. The bathrooms were dirty after 1 pm, the dining room smelled bad, the food was average, the tables were crowded together and too close together. Price was €50 per person. The place thrives thanks to the name it's built in the past and the parking lot; it's hard to find parking in the area. I gave it 3 stars to be polite.

We were here for a confirmation. The food was excellent, the waiters were excellent, always ready to accommodate our every request. The only flaw was an incident that left us speechless. A glass fell near the children's table. The waiters rushed to grab a broom and go back to clear the glass. The owner came over and scolded them, saying one of them was supposed to be watching the windows in the presence of children. Then he punched the younger boy in the back, even less so. 1) It's absolutely not done, but we're kidding. 2) You take him aside, not in front of customers, and you scold him as many times as you like. 3) I was an equal opportunity employee, but how dare you? Even if he's a relative, you don't do it in front of customers. You lose credibility. I felt incredibly tender toward that boy, especially because he was polite and kind all evening, and he didn't deserve it. I'll give one star to the service, but it's a star for the owner, who needs to learn to put his hands in his pockets and show a little respect. I'm ready to start a controversy.

A truly charming and excellent restaurant, nestled in a large park with plenty of parking—no small feat! The interior is well-maintained and welcoming, perfect for a pleasant evening. We enjoyed dinner with live music, headlined by Massimo Mattia, an exceptional singer and entertainer who captivated everyone with his charm and great energy. The service was courteous and friendly. Special mention goes to Ciro, a highly experienced waiter, who with his smile and helpfulness always made you feel at home. As for the food, I can't give a complete review since it was a set menu: decent but not exceptional, and the portions weren't particularly generous. The tripe, amatriciana, and cacio e pepe were good (considering the difficulty of serving it for so many people). Saltimbocca, potatoes, chicory, and house wine completed the menu, all for around €30. In any case, we went there not so much to eat, but to have fun and laugh together, and from this point of view, the goal was fully achieved! 🎶😊

Today I celebrated my daughter's baptism for lunch at Checco's and was thrilled with what they did! As soon as we arrived, despite the confusion (we had to arrange place cards, centerpieces, cake, etc.), they were patient in helping us find the best solution. They organized the aperitif outside on a terrace, a fairly spacious spot. The food was very good and the portions were generous. Everyone was very accommodating and super kind. I had a great time and will definitely be back.

Il Ristorante si presenta molto carino e immerso nel verde, non sembra nemmeno di essere in città. Il cibo per i piatti che abbiamo ordinato devo dire buono, anche le porzioni abbondanti nell'insieme l'esperienza è stata abbastanza positiva. Purtroppo la nota negativa è stato il servizio, la mancanza di attenzione alle esigenze del cliente, camerieri poco cortesi, lenti, disattenti, un vero peccato per una struttura di questo livello.
