CHAPLIN In Garbagnate milanese

Excessively expensive desserts compared to the low quality, truly exceptional pizzas, if you have a large crowd it's impossible to move without ending up on top of other diners, there are spaces but it's overcrowded (certainly due to the excellent pizzas)

I would say good pizza dinner and prompt service

Ate the tender cut meat on the menu, everything from the service to the parking was excellent, we will return

The Chaplin pizza restaurant is located in a street where it is quite difficult to find parking, it is best to park in the large open space which is used as a market and amusement park located on the road a few hundred meters before. The environment is typical of a trattoria, not very well looked after and quite rough, the food is not bad, the pizza is good, the portions of the other dishes are small compared to the prices which are on average high for the type of place. The gluten-free pizza is good, made from bases and cooked in a separate oven. The staff is very kind and welcoming.

Lots of Chaplin memorabilia, good business lunches with a choice.

My partner and I often come here to eat pizza because he has celiac disease, and he finds that this pizzeria makes some of the best gluten-free dough in the area (north-west province of Milan). The pizza with classic flour is also really good and they also make it with lactose-free mozzarella (I always get it this way). The staff is kind and polite, I find the place really nice, rustic in style and all about Charlie Chaplin's films (as you can imagine from the name). The only flaw is the desserts... I don't think they are homemade, or in any case unfortunately 2/3 times that I have ordered one, they have not thrilled me: they taste little of artisanal and a little too much of industrial. But anyway, we will always gladly come back because we like it!
