Chapeau Bar was our go to place for coffee and breakfast every morning while we were in Florence. It is a popular neighborhood café and bar located just north of Piazza della Liberta.
The space is cozy with beautifully restored brick arch ceilings and wooden counters.
We had fresh Italian-style croissants and pastries and excellent coffee - including delicious espresso and beautifully presented cappuccinos each morning. The prices were VERY reasonable.
Andrei and his team have created an incredibly welcoming, authentic place with a wonderful community feel. We SO enjoyed our chat with the locals that would come in each morning. If you are looking for a genuine local experience away from the busiest tourist hubs, You have found it. Thank you so much, Andrei!
