A very cool cafe with a great atmosphere. The coffee and desserts are fantastic 👌 The staff is very attentive, the service is excellent.

Chapeau Bar was our go to place for coffee and breakfast every morning while we were in Florence. It is a popular neighborhood café and bar located just north of Piazza della Liberta. The space is cozy with beautifully restored brick arch ceilings and wooden counters. We had fresh Italian-style croissants and pastries and excellent coffee - including delicious espresso and beautifully presented cappuccinos each morning. The prices were VERY reasonable. Andrei and his team have created an incredibly welcoming, authentic place with a wonderful community feel. We SO enjoyed our chat with the locals that would come in each morning. If you are looking for a genuine local experience away from the busiest tourist hubs, You have found it. Thank you so much, Andrei! 23/09/2025: This is a good place where reservations are essential. Keep this in mind if you're booking for lunch or dinner, as you can't transfer between meals. Luckily, we were allowed to stay, even though we weren't told about it when we booked. The food is excellent, in its own style, a bit gourmet, but definitely worth a try. My husband and I were disappointed with the service. Only towards the end of the evening did the waiters warm up to us; before that, they were dismissive, to put it mildly. This place is strictly touristy, so this attitude surprised us. The view from there is simply beautiful, and the atmosphere is pleasant.

13/10/2025: It's not my first time here, but I remember they used to only have pizza, but now they have appetizers, first courses, and second courses. Thick pizza, excellent dough, and good. Prices are okay. The only disappointment was the roast beef, which was actually just roast beef. Otherwise, we had a great time.
12/10/2025: Very beautiful and welcoming place. Friendly and impeccable service. Delicious pizza, flaky and tasty. Excellent appetizers and desserts. We'll be back very soon.
