I have been frequenting the Gerard restaurant for many years even before the renovation. It's always been a certainty, I've always eaten well. Yesterday's dinner was a real disappointment. The place is magnificent and the service good but the food is not adequate. A paillard served with a side dish of sautéed mixed vegetables, identical to the frozen Orogel light vegetable mix, at the price of 28 euros! Improbable. The meat then, tasteless. High prices and poor quality. Sin!

We went twice for dinner on our trip to Val Gardena The views really are spectacular and we had a lovely outside table to watch the sunset over the valley The service was excellent- waiter was incredibly helpful and attentive Food was delicious. Schnitzel was one of the best I have ever eaten. Highly recommended

I stopped for lunch, the food was excellent, the place is beautiful, the landscape is wonderful, you can have lunch on the veranda at prices that are appropriate for the place

Sassolungo view is amazing! The servers were friendly and the drinks and food were delicious. I ordered hot chocolate, and it came out as thick, steamed hot chocolate. I guess it's not the Korean concept of chocolate latte. But it was delicious. For a hotel cafe, the prices are not expensive and the bathrooms are clean!! If you are on your travel route, be sure to stop by. But it would be better to go in the morning or noon. It is backlit in the late afternoon.

Nel viaggio tra il Passo Sella e Corvara in Badia ci siamo fermati in questo locale. Comodo il parcheggio di fronte, spettacolare la vista dai tavoli esterni. È veramente un pranzo con spettacolo, si lo spettacolo del Sassolungo di fronte. Abbiamo preso tre Canederli, ottimi e ben presentati, certo il prezzo non è dei più convenienti, ma di certo in linea con i prezzi dell’Alto Adige. Consigliato!

27/07/2024: The Kuppelrain restaurant in South Tyrol is a culinary highlight that is definitely worth a visit. The dishes are creative and artfully prepared, with a focus on local and seasonal ingredients. Every course is a taste experience that pampers the senses. The wine selection is impressive and harmonizes perfectly with the dishes on offer. The service is first class: The staff is attentive, friendly and extremely competent, making you feel like you are in good hands right from the start. The ambience of the restaurant is elegant and cozy at the same time, with a wonderful view of the surrounding landscape that makes dining an even more special experience. The only small drawback is that the prices are in the upper segment, but this is absolutely justified given the quality and the overall experience. Overall, Restaurant Kuppelrain is an excellent choice for gourmets and lovers of fine dining.
26/07/2024: Delicious lunch on the terrace. Casual atmosphere. The dishes are light and tasty. Sonja delivers the perfect wines.
