Hands down the best gelateria in Civitavecchia, and definitely the oldest. You'll see on their wall the history of their gelateria, starting from humble cart to right now success, they deserve every ounce of it. Their gelato is just so creamy, luscious and flavorful, especially their pistachio gelato and I've had many good ones and this impresses me. Despite not speaking english most of them understand and also they charge us the same price not like the one downtown that charges us double just because we're tourist. Their pastries are amazing too, their maritozzi is so good! Well actually their fresh whipped cream is soo good you have to have it in you gelato, if they ask if u want crema? Say yes immediately. They're a bit of a walk from shuttle stop but it is worthed I promise.

I ate excellent ice cream here, very creamy and gluten-free, of which they offer 5 flavors in the winter. One taste better than the other... I was also positively surprised by the price. For a superior quality ice cream I would have expected a stellar price and instead I would say an excellent quality/price ratio. Highly recommended!

We found this place a year ago, before we set sail on a cruise, we came back three times before we left. We have traveled all over Italy and I can’t wait to go back there tomorrow morning, before we sail again. It’s the best gelato I’ve ever tasted and I’ve had a few, to say the least.

We really enjoyed our gelati here, when all the other shops in town were closed.
