The food is always excellent, and the waiter is truly sweet, knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. The staff is always friendly, and the prices are excellent. I'm always happy to return.

Visited Ceylon Restaurant at Piazza Firenze, Milan today. The atmosphere inside was calm and welcoming. I tried Idiyappa with milk tea, and it was absolutely delicious! The complimentary coconut chamanthi and lentil soup served with the Idiyappa are a must-try they perfectly complete the dish. The prices are also quite affordable, making it a great spot for anyone looking for authentic Sri Lankan flavors in Milan. Definitely worth visiting! 🍽️🇱🇰

I rarely feel the need to give a truly positive review of a place, but here I felt like I had to give it 5 stars because they deserve it. The food is delicious and not heavy, the service is fantastic, and the guy who served us explained every dish in detail. The place is small but very cute, and I really liked the fact that the menu featured random Sri Lankan trivia. I also noticed that it's frequented by a lot of Sri Lankans, which is a great thing. The prices are super reasonable, and I managed to fill up for just a few euros. I'll definitely be back, I'm glad I discovered this place! And a huge thank you to the guy who served us, whose name I unfortunately don't know ☺️

Crazy Cat Cafe

18/03/2026: I went to Crazy Cat Café with my friend for a sweet treat and a coffee, and we had a great time. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by a really friendly, smiling, and welcoming barista. She then came to take our order after giving us time to choose. She came back very kindly, and we even chatted for a bit, which made the experience even more enjoyable. You can tell she's genuinely kind and enjoys offering personalized options. I ordered a classic cappuccino, and she suggested adding cinnamon, which I really appreciated; it was delicious. I also ordered a cinnamon roll (€4.50). My friend ordered a macchiato, and the barista suggested a schiumato after learning she was from the south—such a thoughtful touch! My friend also ordered a Solero al bicchiere (€5.00). The Solero was delicious, a vanilla cream cheese with a red berry jelly and a tropical fruit jelly. It was incredibly fresh, very well-balanced, truly a success. My girlfriend and I highly recommend it. The barista also recommends it. We shared it with the cinnamon roll, which was okay, but a little disappointing. It wasn't very soft, even though it had been warmed up, which was a nice touch and made it better. Personally, I felt it lacked syrup and glaze. I prefer cinnamon rolls that are very syrupy and indulgent with a little glaze, but the most important thing is that they be incredibly soft, and this one wasn't. I think it's gluten-free, which might be an advantage for some, but for those who aren't looking for gluten, I wouldn't necessarily recommend it. Plus, it didn't really look like the picture. The cappuccino with cinnamon was amazing, and my girlfriend really enjoyed her schiumato. And of course, the cats in the coffee shop were a big hit. They're adorable, they come right up to you and love being petted. It makes the place even more enjoyable. You need to spend at least €5, but you'll find plenty to enjoy for that amount. We had a fantastic time, the place is lovely, the cats are so cute, and a huge thank you to the barista who really made the experience even better!

07/02/2026: If you want to book, make sure you do so well in advance as there are only a few tables, but trust me... you won't regret it! It was my first time there, so I ordered a main course and a dessert... the tagliata with lard was DEVASTATING... The dessert is no exception. I'll definitely be back several times until I've tried the entire menu!
08/11/2025: I had dinner with family and friends. The appetizers and first courses were excellent. For my taste, I preferred the Florentine rib eye steak. A decent selection of wines, with excellent recommendations from the owner, who always knows how to give the best advice. It's become a regular stop when I want to eat well and enjoy a relaxed atmosphere.
