I'm revisiting the desserts because they're special, like the pastries, but I'd aim for a decent blend of coffee... I'm not talking about tea, but at least coffee. I recommend Valentina Palange's book on coffee; maybe you can take inspiration from it. The pastries are truly excellent, though expensive. They used to be priced by weight, now by piece. The Sachertorte is excellent, but I'd aim for a quality jam, given the price of a miniature Sachertorte measuring barely 2cm. The selection of teas and infusions is limited, but then again, it's not a teahouse.

The best cornetti and cappuccino in the area. The pistachio cornetto is especially recommended! You can even watch the baker making some! Great🥐🤩

One of Rome's best pastry shops, where you can enjoy breakfast with freshly baked pastries. Behind the counter is a friendly and efficient team. The best way to start the day is with delicious baked goods and a warm welcome from Desirée. Very well-known and frequented by the residents of San Lorenzo.

13/07/2025: I'll be honest: I've tried this gelateria twice, but my opinion is based primarily on the second experience. The first time, a bit rushed, I chose flavors that weren't entirely convincing, like the honey and fig donut, which was good, but a bit stringy after a while. The real surprise came with the second taste, with two flavors that truly won me over: Sunday ricotta and milk absolute. A mix of similar flavors, but perfectly balanced and decidedly delicious. The staff seemed well-trained and friendly. Prices were average. This is definitely a gelateria worth a visit.

07/10/2025: I was passing by and saw a lot of locals so I went in. They were really friendly and the maritozzo and canelé were really delicious! The maritozzo bread itself was a little dry but oily so I thought it was fried and it was savory. The cream wasn't too sweet and it went well together. I recommend it!!! The canelé was also the best I've had in Rome. I regret only buying one ㅠㅜㅜ
