I stopped to read the reviews of "once upon a time"...and I said to myself why not! I'll try it...guys I highly recommend it...the food is very, very good and I will definitely go back...super fast service and the owner is very, very friendly.

Truly satisfying experience. Excellent first courses, especially the pappardelle with wild boar and venison, and a truly special Irish dessert (caramel cheesecake and fresh bananas). Impeccable service in terms of friendliness and timing. To conclude, a really affordable price. Definitely a restaurant worth trying.

A delicious and unexpected dinner, made even more special by the kindness and hospitality of the owner who, with great discretion, guided us by telling us anecdotes of the area. Excellent dishes and a super honest price, I recommend also trying the Irish-inspired dessert and the home-made bitters!

We finally managed to try this place and we were not disappointed, traditional flavours, excellent appetizer... But the first courses were spectacular and abundant and finally not full of sauces and salt but the right flavors emphasized by the hands of those who understand cooking, the second course below I recommend mixed roast (the sausages and black pork steaks are a pure spectacle for the palate), but the baked potatoes in large touches are spectacular, we wanted to exaggerate and we had dessert with some tastings of Irish desserts and traditional ones , we can't complain because we ate a lot and the price obviously goes up if you drink a lot and eat sweets but essentially the right price! As soon as I arrived I was welcomed by the manager, who was very kind and approachable. Throughout the meal we exchanged pleasant chats, this too counts in a restaurant in my opinion, the human relationship. The room is beautiful and comfortable. As the name suggests, it appears as welcoming as grandma's house. Let's start with good white bread and pizza. The house red wine is good, which is not to be taken for granted. In fact I repeated it. The appetizer good and tasty. The first course was also well done: tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and truffle. For meat I couldn't help but choose a mixed roast. Among other things, the manager strongly suggested it to me and the meat was actually very good. The side potatoes are also good. To finish, a nice dessert, grappa and coffee. Very satisfied with everything. I will definitely go back. Thank you!!!
