17/11/2025: The place is definitely a great one; the ambiance seemed very sophisticated and the atmosphere was truly pleasant for an aperitif-dinner for two.
The cocktails we ordered, along with the aperitif dishes, were sophisticated and high-quality, as well as interesting for their flavor combinations. The tortellini dish we ordered next was also good, but nothing extraordinary.
It's a shame because the bill was really steep, and even though, as I mentioned, the place is very sophisticated, I found the service a bit unbalanced.
12/11/2025: The location is truly charming, centrally located in Bologna, on a side street off Via Indipendenza, making it very easy to get to. The atmosphere is welcoming, with soft lighting and lots of wood creating a warm and relaxed atmosphere.
I really liked the service: the staff was super kind, welcoming, and attentive throughout the dinner. For my entrée, they brought me a mini Parmesan ball with anchovy and olive sauce and some warm homemade bread.
I ordered tortellini with Parmesan cream and a pavlova for dessert. The tortellini were tasty, but unfortunately, a little too al dente for my taste, and the Parmesan cream wasn't warm enough, creating a contrast that didn't entirely convince me. The pavlova, on the other hand, was quite disappointing: it was a disjointed version, with just two small pieces of meringue, some cream, and a sort of fruit salad inside. I didn't particularly enjoy the mix of the liquid fruit and the creaminess of the custard.
Overall, a pleasant experience in terms of atmosphere and service, but I had some reservations about the dishes.
