I've been a customer for several years and never manage to take photos because I devour everything as soon as it arrives!! Well, what can I say? The food is always excellent, high-quality, with truly delicious and tempting options. From appetizers to dessert, everything is consistently good and the quality hasn't changed over the years. The atmosphere is pleasant, the service is excellent and attentive, and there's plenty of space both inside and out to enjoy your meal without feeling too close to other tables. The place is well-kept, clean, and always well-maintained. I highly recommend trying it because then you'll inevitably become a regular!

The food is very good, although I would recommend reviewing some aspects, such as the quantity of pasta served in the first courses, precisely because they are good; it would be nice to try a few more forkfuls. The pizzottelle, always on the menu and well-fried, are worth ordering, even if they are a bit more expensive than average.
A very negative note is the wine issue: the menu only has wines with a minimum price of €28, labels that differ from those on the menu; we ordered a wine that, when it arrived at the table, had a different alcohol content.
The wait staff is different from the last time we were there; they've added a young man who completely clashes with the rest of the team, haughty and not at all empathetic.

"La Bottega" is an almost reductive name for a place that, in reality, offers cuisine that's anything but simple or ordinary.
It's one of those places you go once... and then keep coming back.
The dishes are original, carefully crafted, and never boring, with a menu that changes frequently and always encourages you to try something new. The quality of the ingredients and the attention to detail are clearly evident, and the value for money is perfectly in line with what's on offer.
The environment is always clean, tidy, and welcoming in its simplicity.
I can't help but mention their "ajo e ojo con tartare di gamberoni": exceptional!

Recommended by a Roman. Loved the food, the kindness of the staff, and the location. Parking is available. The meatballs with tomato sauce and cacio e pepe with lime were excellent!!! Quiet area. Recommended.

2026 Update:
They can only improve. The interesting pairings are increasingly interesting, with super-tasty Asian influences that pair perfectly with the other ingredients.
New since the last review: you can also enjoy their dishes at lunch with very convenient options, both economically (menus for €10, €12, and €15) and in terms of calorie intake. There's something for everyone.
Today I was tempted by a fusion salad (the seared tuna was fabulous!), and my companions were treated to meatballs with sausage paste, Japanese wine on a bed of bean sprouts.
Excellent food, interesting pairings, very professional staff.
