I loved everything about this place. The staff handled huge numbers of diners with amicable efficiency, keeping the queue entertained and informed while we waited for a table. Inside is bustling, friendly and informal. The food is just wonderful. I’d recommend trenette or trofie al pesto genovese: very special, and I can’t argue with the claim it’s the best pesto ever. So good I came twice in my four day stay in Genova - why go elsewhere?

This is the second time I've been back to Cavour modo21, it's now a must-see every time I visit Genoa
A welcoming and informal atmosphere, a real osteria, one of the few left.
The prices are excellent and the quality of the raw materials too.
Very helpful and kind staff.
I would recommend it to anyone 🙂

Ligurian cuisine, as if made at home: very delicate pesto lasagnette, tripe like my mother used to make😋😋😋😋💓, fried calamari, prawns, anchovies, very good, soft, all accompanied by still white wine, to finish tiramisu on👍👍😋. Very fast and helpful service, thanks to Camilla. Highly recommended, price 50 and for 2!!!!

Excellent cuisine, abundant dishes and very good pesto. The only complaint is that the service was a little too hasty, I understand the desire to guarantee a table for everyone but it is not even nice to remove the plate while you are still finishing eating and ask to vacate the table as soon as possible.

Ottimo posto come trattoria per mangiare vicino al porto antico di Genova.
Personale cordiale
Cibo : antipasto misto ( un insieme di torte tipiche genovesi accompagnati da insalata russa e salumi ) buone le torte
Paste : ravioli al tuccu buoni e saporiti
Pansotti in salsa di noci. Molto buoni
