After a week in Italy I can finally say that this was the best food yet! Truly a gem! We had the poached cuttlefish, pesto pasta with sea bass, ravioli with Genoa meat sauce, grilled mixed seafood, tiramisu and granny’s custard tart. It was all delicious and the portions were good. The pesto here was amazing! They really deserve the “pesto work champion” title.

We had a great time; queuing for a table for six was worth it. The food was delicious, the service was very good, and Martina, the lady, was very helpful and attentive.

If you're a pesto fan and ever find yourself in Genoa, you simply have to eat here 🤩 Unfortunately, it was really busy and I didn't have time to wait any longer - but since I didn't want to miss out on the truly deservedly celebrated pesto, I simply took some with me... and... mmmhhh... it was delicious 🤤 Next time I'd like to eat there.

We came here on the recommendation of our host, and we weren't disappointed. It ticks all the boxes (good, pretty, and cheap). I recommend going early, as they close at 2:30 p.m. and there's usually a crowd waiting. We tried the Lasanette al pesto, the fried fish, and the peppered mussels.

Incredibly nice bar, run by very friendly people. They live their business and it shows.
The cocktails are the most delicious I've ever had for a ridiculous price.
Be sure to visit this place
Of the minuses, it's a pity that it's near the road, but this is a very small minus

Excellent value for money!! Genoese trattoria with dishes that are definitely less expensive than other trattorias but no less delicious!! I recommend the pesto! Sea bass ravioli with shrimp cream!! Cuttlefish Portofino-style!! 😋 The service is quick and courteous!

Ci siamo recati a Genova per visitare l’acquario.
Su consiglio di comuni conoscenti abbiamo prenotato in questa caratteristica trattoria in prossimità del porto vecchio.
Servizio solerte e gentile, cibo ottimo, pesto superlativo che peraltro può essere acquistato alla cassa del ristorante , fritto leggero e piatti variegati della tradizione ligure.
Un particolare ringraziamento a Camilla che ci ha accompagnati in questa esperienza gastronomica.
