We tried their pesto pasta, anchioves, mixed sea food, mascarpone cream and pesto cake. We were feeling adventurous while trying pesto cake but we recommend ordering classical italian dessert. Other than that every other dish was so delicious. We had reservation via WhatsApp.

I went there for the first time with friends for a drink, and I have to say I had a great time. The staff was friendly and attentive, the atmosphere was fun, and the cocktails were good. I didn't try the food, but I'll be back soon.

Exceptional restaurant! Near the old port, an authentic place where you can eat very well and at very reasonable prices. I recommend the mixed fried fish.

Les prix sont très abordables ( quasi tous les plats sont à moins de 10€) la sauce Pesto est incontournable. Le vin « Senatore Primo » , au delà de son prix, est une belle découverte.Le dessert « Pesto cake », à ne pas rater !!! Et Camilla nous a très accompagné.

This place is a bit of a Genovese institution, though if you were passing by you might not think so - it is situated by the side of a busy flyover close to the port, not a 'pretty' setting at all, so we thought we'd give the terrace option a miss and booked an indoor table.
It's important to know that even if you have booked (and it's advisable), you will still have to turn up and wait if you want an early table. We had booked for opening time and there was already a queue when we arrived; they do not start admitting guests until the moment they open (which is fair enough), and you must listen carefully as they call out all the bookings by name - make sure that someone else from the queue doesn't claim to be you!
Once inside it's a bit of a warren but there are plenty of staff and you'll be seated quickly. It's not a restaurant to linger in - the service is quick and efficient. Portions are generous and the seafood is as good as you'd expect for a Portside trattoria - everything is super fresh. I especially loved my main course - Ligurian rabbit - absolutely delicious, and not something you always find on a menu. We had a decent bottle of wine and felt very contented. It was a lovely, slightly hectic experience.
