The place is always charming, with an atmosphere that never disappoints. The quality of the food, especially the pizzas, is excellent. The staff is very kind and helpful, but unfortunately this time the wait was truly unnerving: over an hour to receive the pizzas, which also arrived within 10 minutes of each other. I find it unprofessional to justify yourself by saying, "It's Saturday night and we had 300 people," without even bothering to address the situation or apologize adequately. It's a shame, because a little more attention to service would have made everything perfect.

A true trattoria serving traditional, locally sourced cuisine. The pizzoli and antipasti are excellent. Generous portions and reasonable prices. The olive grove is beautiful, offering outdoor dining.

You eat under the olive trees, the staff is kind and attentive, and in addition to pizza, they also serve typical Netina dishes. A wonderful experience.

I can fully recommend this restaurant. A good choice for both pizza and typical Sicilian dishes. We don't necessarily go to the same restaurant twice on vacation, but that was the case here. For starters, we had bruschetta. It was a decent portion with eight pieces. Then we had spaghetti carbonara, which was exactly as it should be. The portion was quite large. My wife couldn't eat any more after that. I then had bistecca alla pizzaiola. These were two thin pieces of beef, larger than the size of a palm, with a delicious tomato-based sauce. Unfortunately, dessert wasn't possible after that. I also had half a liter of open red wine—it's not on the menu—just ask. Coke is available in a 1.5-liter bottle upon request—a fair price for 5 euros. The second time, I had spaghetti alla cava grande and then rabbit coniglio alla stimpirata, both also highly recommended. The service was beyond reproach. There were plenty of waiters and waitresses milling around, who were attentive. Communication in English was no problem. The restaurant has a very large, beautiful outdoor terrace under old olive trees with umbrellas and stylish lighting. A pleasant ambiance. Seats were well spaced apart, and the only noise came from the crickets in the trees. There are quite a few seats, but many seemed to be reserved, often by locals. You have to drive a bit up the mountain from Avola, taking a winding road, but the trip is definitely worth it. Just for the view of Cava Grande – like the Grand Canyon, but a little smaller. Unfortunately, you can't see any of it from the restaurant. Parking is no problem; there's a parking lot in front of it, and there's plenty of space on the campsite grounds. You then have to go through the gate. There's another bistro in front, which seems to be open during the day.

A good pizza in the cool of the Avola mountains.

Location immersed in the canyons of Avola, just 20 minutes from its center. Kind and friendly staff. Excellent menu, true Sicilian cuisine. Some dishes (like snails) must be booked in advance. Excellent quality/price ratio. Highly recommended!

After years of walking trails in the Cavagrande area, I had never been in, but yesterday it was finally time for lunch at Za Gina, guys I can't tell you and I give them my best compliments, I haven't eaten so tastefully for a long time, savouring the flavours of the past, a taste and smell like Grandma's, a series of starters, one better than the other, the first course Pasta di casa alla Norma, crazy there, an immense pleasure, the smell of the sauce, the frying of the aubergines, it was at Estasty, truly everything of excellent Sicilian home cooking. Kind and friendly staff, clean environment, friendly and very kind owners, all near the infamous Canyon of Cavagrande del Cassibile...so walk and eat with taste at Aunt Gina's.
