My wife and I visited this agriturismo in San Damiano last night, and I must say we thoroughly enjoyed the excellent food and their wines, as well as the professionalism of the owner, Mr. Matteo. A typical Asti menu, expertly prepared, and excellent service, with the option of purchasing their own wines. Well done, a well-deserved five-star rating. We'll definitely be back. 👏👏👏👍👍👍

A truly positive experience! There's a pool where you can sunbathe and swim. The restaurant offers excellent food and a varied menu. The rooms are very clean and offer a wonderful view of the vineyards. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a truly relaxing weekend accompanied by good wine and delicious food.

My boyfriend and I stayed at this wonderful bed & breakfast with a restaurant and pool and were absolutely thrilled! The rooms are welcoming, clean, and meticulously maintained, perfect for a relaxing couple's stay. The restaurant offers delicious dishes, including vegetarian options, prepared with fresh and authentic Piedmontese ingredients. The pool is a real highlight: clean, well-maintained, and ideal for relaxing and reading a good book. A special thanks to Matteo, the owner, who is always available, friendly, and attentive to his guests' every need. Thanks to him, we felt right at home. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a place that combines good food, comfort, and tranquility.

Sunday lunch with a group of friends, the owner and staff were young, professional, and incredibly friendly! Everything was excellent, from appetizer to dessert, so high quality, and all accompanied by a delicious wine of their own production... a tour of the vineyards with a visit to the cellar and the stunning grotto that completed the wonderful experience, described by the great Matteo, who acted as our guide! What can I say... it was a real feast for the eyes and the taste buds! Best wishes again to Matteo and all his staff, we'll be back soon!

We've stayed at this wonderful place several times. A stunning location for a relaxing weekend. The food and wines are excellent, and Matteo and Giulia will definitely make you feel at home. We'll definitely be back.

La Tenuta Agricola La Cava non è solo un agriturismo, ma un’esperienza autentica, un viaggio sensoriale tra paesaggi incantevoli, sapori genuini e accoglienza sincera. Il proprietario è semplicemente straordinario: la sua passione travolgente per il territorio e per il suo lavoro traspare in ogni parola, in ogni gesto, in ogni scelta. Eerste week van onze vakantie in Noord-italie. Mooie streek. Op reis met 2 van onze dochters. 2 appartementen gehuurd bij Matteo, Tenuto Agricola la Cava in San Damiano d Asti. De wijnboerderij is gelegen op een heuvel met uitzicht over de nabije omgeving. Zwembad en verblijven perfect. Zeer vriendelijk. Lekker en uitgebreid ontbijt. Je kan er lekker dineren. Biowijn van het huis. Eten kan buiten in open lucht. Je kan zelf ook een lichte maaltijd bereiden. In 1 van onze appartementen was een keuken met het nodige keukengerei. De wijnboerderij is een mooie uitvalbasis om plaatsen te bezoeken. Wij hebben Turijn, San Damiano d Asti en Alba bezocht. Als je in Alba bent, neem lunch bij Vincafe in de wandelhoofdstraat, mijn favoriet was het gegrilde vlees en een glas rode wijn Barbera d Asti. Ook bij Matteo verkrijgbaar, licht verschil in smaak, hangt af van de samenstelling van de grond waarop de druivenstruiken staan. Je kan ook in elk stadje of dorp in de omgeving lekker eten en drinken. Ook voor weinig geld. We hebben in de omgeving ook een wandeling gemaakt. Wandelingen makkelijk te selecteren via uw zoekmachine op gsm, tablet of computer. In dit verblijf is auto of huurauto vereist. Ps huisdieren welkom. Onze tekkel was voorzien maar ziek thuis gebleven bij onze oudste dochter. San Damiano is een perfect verblijf en uitvalsbasis om Piemonte te bezoeken. Vergeet de gelato niet! Van San Damiano zijn we na een week vertrokken naar Casalbergo, Noord-Italie, Isola della Escala. Alles zeer ontspannend.
