The ambience, the staff, the food was amazing, something you’ll never forget. Everything about this place makes you feel as if you are in ancient Pompeii itself. The location is amazing, right across the archeological park with lots of hotels and restaurants nearby. The food and the staff give you a blast to the past that you’ll never forget. This will be the first stop we make when we come back to Italy.

Great opportunity for lunch! After walking through the city of Pompeii for many hours we did not want a slice of pizza but something a little more special. We found this great place that was tugged away in a little street near the City of Pompeii’s entrance. We both had fish (tuna tartare and salmon) and were blown away by the subtle tastes! Great find 🥂

After visiting Pompeii, we stopped by this nearby restaurant specializing in ancient Roman style. From the frescoes and decor to the details of the tableware, the atmosphere was fantastic. Even the waiters were dressed in ancient Roman attire, creating a truly immersive experience. They also provide costumes for those who want to try them on, which is quite fun. The food was decent overall, and the service was good, but the food came out rather slowly, requiring some patience. Overall, it felt more like an "experience" than a "food experience."

I expected a more atmospheric service, with only wine and water served in glasses that looked old. The food was very average, and the wine was watered down. According to the advertisement, I was supposed to get a 10% discount after booking a table online, but I didn't. The waiters were nice, but I had to ask twice about the dress code. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it; there are better restaurants.

this place is a hidden gem in Pompeii. Our waiters Augusto and Cortino, made our experience unforgettable. The tomahawk steak was perfectly seasoned and cooked right at the table. The history and atmosphere made our experience completely magical.

02/05/2026: I can’t recommend Hotel Bellevue Syrene highly enough. From the moment I arrived, everything felt exceptional. I was kindly upgraded to a sea view room, and honestly, it was the most breathtaking view in Sorrento. Waking up to that each morning was something special. The service throughout my stay was outstanding. Every member of staff went out of their way to make me feel genuinely valued, not just looked after. It struck that perfect balance of being attentive without ever feeling over the top. I want to pay particular attention to the live piano music at breakfast...which was so special and created such a dreamy and elegant atmosphere. The food deserves its own mention too. Absolutely incredible. Every meal felt like a real experience, with quality and flavour and special attention to service. The location is unbeatable, perched perfectly with spectacular views that you never get tired of. All in all, this hotel goes beyond what you’d expect from five stars. It’s a place that really knows how to make a stay memorable. Id highly recommend a stay here. The staff are incredibly nice, the setting is idyllic and the location is perfect fir exploring all that beautiful Sorrento has to offer.

07/05/2026: Amazing, delicious, and affordable pizza. The guys there are quite cool and take pride in their work. I asked for their best pizza with meat and they recommended the Pizza AI Tre Salami. They've definitely set the standard for me when it comes to Italian pizza. I would love to come back and try a few more of their dishes. Cheers from Canada!
