Cathedrali Pasticceria In Modena

I'll just say that I had breakfast here by chance and with great amazement I ate the best pasta ever (swirl with cream and raisins)! Since then every now and then I travel 15 km and return specifically here for a superb breakfast at a reasonable price. I just hope they don't change anything over time!

At the beginning of the fourth year of high school I began to have problems that prevented me from having breakfast at home, from that moment I discovered, also thanks to their sponsorship of the Modena Volleyball team, the Cathedrali pastry bar, right in the historic center and opposite to the wonderful Modena Cathedral. Right from the start I found the quality of the numerous products on offer to be excellent: from brioches (chocolate, pistachio, jam, cream, pain au chocolat, swede, raisin rolls, Venetians, Maritozzi) to pastries, from pizza to fried gnocco prepared and filled at the moment and again from single portions to cakes. Without a doubt works of art in the field of pastry making. In these last two years of high school, breakfast time has been an enveloping cuddle that I couldn't give up. I felt like family. The owners, very nice Francesca and all the girls and boys who welcomed me with a smile, in the morning and afternoon were of unique kindness, friendliness and professionalism. To enjoy the warm and convivial atmosphere, a large lounge space has recently been opened where you can enjoy greater privacy. Outside, however, there are numerous tables overlooking the Duomo, perfect for enjoying an aperitif with friends. I highly recommend trying their products at least once, but I assure you that after the first there will also be a second and then a third and so on, because you can't help but return to a place that slowly becomes home.

Cathedrali Pasticceria in Modena is a wonderful bakery where we enjoyed breakfast daily during our stay. The coffees were perfect, and the gnocco fritto topped with prosciutto was fantastic – a delightful way to experience the local flavors. They also have a great selection of pastries that looked fantastic, though we stuck to our favorites. This charming bakery is a great place to start your day while in Modena. Highly recommended!

It was the best meals in Italy! My breakfasts were perfect! Very tasty, big variety, big brioches, exclusive tea, fantastic fresh made juice! Will be back!!!

Went here at about 7pm hoping for a snack but didn’t want sweet stuff, or their weird looking very thick chunks of pizza, so ended up just with mint tea. This was delicious though! A bit of a language issue with the server but she found someone else to help so all was fine in the end,
