Castello Thurnstein In Tirolo

Starting point for hikes on the Algunder Waalweg or via St.Peter to Tirol Castle, the Brunnenburg or via the Tappeinerweg to Merano, or further via the Sissiweg to the botanical garden of Trauttmansdorff Castle

During the walk that would have taken us to Merano starting from Tirolo, we stumbled upon this wonderful Schloss which also offers restaurant service. On nice days you can dine on the terrace which offers spectacular views of the surrounding panorama. The food is well prepared and tasty, accompanied by an excellent Forst beer, poured to perfection, which in these places can be savored in all its magnificence. Freshly prepared roasted chestnuts were also available. Friendly staff, and price commensurate with the location. Nice experience!

Este restaurante se encuentra en un castillo con espectaculares vistas desde la terraza. El menú era bastante tradicional. La comida era sabrosa, servicio amable y un gran lugar en un largo paseo.

A little room for improvement. Otherwise perfect as always!

All good, shame about the exorbitant and unjustified prices.. You also pay for the water you normally get from the fountains.... Beautiful view and very friendly staff... Too bad about the prices.

As hikers, we spontaneously stopped there for dinner...fantastic food and super nice staff
