Cason Grottolo is a must-visit. It's a gastronomic and cultural experience because: beyond the fish caught and cooked by the owner, a veteran fisherman from Caorle, there's the beauty of the landscape surrounding the casone, the casone itself, and the historical and literary memory of the great Hemingway, who lived here and wrote the most beautiful novels in Italian literary history, describing Caorle, its casoni, the lagoon, and the people who welcomed him with the same passion that Mr. Alessandro Bozza welcomes his guests today.

First time at this Cason, very beautiful inside and out. Lunch organized by a friend from Caorle. Everything was delicious, from the appetizers to the coffee. The price was fair, and the owners were kind and knowledgeable. Alessandra was a true hostess. I will definitely be back, perhaps before October 26th.

We've been here twice, once for our son's first communion.
You need to book ahead, and be aware that if the weather isn't great, seating is limited inside. If the weather is good, the outside area is truly beautiful and welcoming.
The food...well, I've never eaten such good fish, in excellent quantities, fresh, and artfully served.
For us, it was a fantastic experience.

Superb location, professional and friendly staff; fast service (but it was a weekday); an entirely seafood-based menu, with a wide selection of appetizers, first courses, and second courses. What can I say? We had a VERY good time. We recommend it. The price is reasonable for what the place offers.
