It was a nice surprise. I stopped by today around 1:00 PM. I had polenta (double) with goulash, and my wife had melted cheese with mushrooms (and polenta) and beans all'uccelletta. Everything was delicious, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We'll be back. The only downside was the squat toilet. Gianotti Gilberto.

A family-friendly, typically mountain atmosphere. Very clean, the staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and there's plenty of parking outside. The traditional dishes are well-prepared and plentiful. The bill is reasonable and in proportion to the amount you eat and drink. Highly recommended!

I have stopped several times and I must say that each time it has been a good experience, it is logical that in the middle of August at rush hour some poor service can occur but without ever making people feel uncomfortable, Angela does her part despite the chronic lack of staff which is well known throughout the sector

We arrived a little late, 2:45 PM, but they found us a seat anyway. Quick service, very good food, and reasonable prices. All served with great kindness. Approved!!!

14/02/2026: A truly emotional evening. Live music and entertainment throughout the evening. Very good food and matching wine!! Excellent service and very helpful and friendly staff. A touch of class in the decor. An evening to remember and definitely do again next year.
01/12/2025: I've been to this trattoria several times for lunch and dinner. I'd start by saying that the place is truly lovely, the view from the terrace is equally as lovely, and the interior features a truly unique and interesting decor. As for the staff, I can say that I immediately felt at ease, thanks to their expertise, politeness, and helpfulness. For food, I tried several typical local products that I really enjoyed, from the presentation to the delicious flavor. The meat was truly well-made, perfectly cooked, and simply delicious. I also tried several first courses, from wild boar pappardelle to gnocchi with butter and sage, pumpkin ravioli, meat and radicchio rolls... truly special. I highly recommend this trattoria; next time I'm in the area, I'll definitely stop by. Below are some other dishes I tried during my stay in Monte di Malo, all truly beautiful to look at and delicious to eat.
