Good restaurant specialised in fish dishes. Depending on the day they have fresh fish. Pastas are good, lot of mussels dishes. Price are medium high. Service is friendly and fast. Restroom is not as nice as the rest of restaurant. Wine offer is wide maybe too much high priced bottles. Desserts are great, coda di aragosta is amazing!

We came across this restaurant, passing by it caught our attention... and I must say that the choice to have lunch there was more than right.
An excellent restaurant from all points of view.
Food, staff, location all perfect.
We will certainly return to Matera to try other specialties in this sublime place. Compliments!!

There are places that leave their mark, and Casello 75 in Matera is one of them. A restaurant that manages to combine elegance and authenticity, inside a historic roadman's house that has been expertly renovated. The environment is refined but welcoming, perfect for those looking for a gourmet break with an open heart and a mind ready to be surprised.
The real enchantment, however, comes at the table. I started my journey with a simply extraordinary selection of raw seafood. The absolute freshness, the quality of the raw materials and the perfect preparation give a pure sensorial experience. Every taste is a small masterpiece. But among all the delicacies, the Cantabrian anchovies deserve an honorable mention: tasty, fleshy, elegant... an authentic poem in balance between strength and delicacy.
Next, an iconic dish of the local tradition that finds new life here: spaghetti all'assassina. Cooked "over fire", as required by the authentic technique, they release a strong, almost primordial flavour, with that intense taste of burnt tomato that captivates from the first bite.
The second? A baked sea bream which is the perfect expression of the art of simplicity. Perfectly cooked, tender and fragrant meat, accompanied by vegetables and Mediterranean aromas that enhance its purity.
The service is impeccable, friendly without being intrusive, and always attentive to the customer's times and needs. You can breathe professionalism, passion and a deep love for the profession.
