Casello 75 In Matera

Clean environment, courteous staff, very good first courses and also very good frying if it weren't for the very high prices I would go back, but a first course costing 20 euros and another 28 euros seems excessive to me... we didn't take desserts because a dessert cost 8 euros really very expensive. A fried fish, two first courses, water and coke 80 euros

Wonderful surprise. I thought it was the classic tourist place, but instead I discovered extremely refined cuisine, with perfect portions, exceptional wines, and a price below my expectations after tasting the food. The risotto with prawn tartare and truffle is dreamy.

Posto decisamente ben curato nel dettaglio buona qualità dei prodotti ma costoso.I piatti sono ricercati ,il pesce è cucinato bene Peccato pero'che è tutto congelato ,vongole a parte e visti i costi uno si aspetta quanto meno pesce fresco .I piatti sono buoni nulla da dire ma a Matera opterei per una cucina più tradizionale.i dolci 8 euro francamente è tanto.

A restaurant in Matera where the locals dine in. Unique 270-degrees glass facade. The roast lamb I had was juicy with the right texture. The Russian squid starter was superb. The calamari bowl was healthy in proportion. They could be a little more generous with scampi and seafood pasta though.

Restaurant where you can eat very well, quality fish cooked in an excellent manner.. normal costs for those who want to eat quality fish.. highly recommended

The Casello 75 Restaurant in Matera is simply extraordinary! I had the pleasure of having lunch there recently and I couldn't be more satisfied. The location, in a roadman's house, adds a touch of unique charm to the culinary experience. The octopus, tender and delicious, was a real pleasure for the palate. The fry was crispy and perfectly fried, a true masterpiece of flavours. The prawn rice was faultless, with each bite bursting with freshness and flavour. Beyond that, I really enjoyed the variety of dishes on offer, which demonstrates the impeccable mastery of the cuisine. The staff was courteous and attentive, helping to make the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend Ristorante Casello 75 to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience in Matera. Definitely a well-deserved 5 star rating!
