Case Nuove In Pienza

Went here on the 18th of oct and had a great time. We were a group of 8 with a toddler. There was no room for us inside so the gentleman arranged a place for us outside. It was a bit chilly and he saw us struggle and immediately brought us some blankets. The service was great. We loved the food, was one of the highlights in terms of food for me in Pienza. Keep up the great service and quality of the food. P.S. the beef stew was 👌

A nice tourist spot in the center of Pienza. The prices are slightly lower than the average in the surrounding area. The atmosphere is charming and well-kept, both inside and out, with clean and convenient restrooms. The service is friendly and fast. The food isn't bad, but it's nothing special either (we tried the walnut and pecorino ravioli and the tagliatelle with meat sauce).

Honestly, it was absolutely delicious!! The lasagna was excellent, and the risotto was also delicious! Some people say it's bland, but it was a precious gem in the salty Italian restaurant scene. I highly recommend it! I especially recommend it to anyone who's tired of salty food!

We visited this restaurant and were immediately charmed by the cozy location and the truly delicious food. Unfortunately, our experience with the service left us disappointed and it’s the reason we wouldn’t return. From the moment we arrived, the hostess didn’t make us feel welcome. She wasn’t exactly unfriendly, but there was a clear lack of warmth and hospitality that we usually experience in Italy, and it set the wrong tone for the evening. My fiancé’s antipasto plate was taken away while I was still eating mine, and before I had even finished, the primi dishes were already served. We hadn’t even been given the chance to order a glass of red wine with our meal. On top of that, several items we ordered never arrived: we asked for water, which never came, and unlike other tables, we received no bread with our antipasti or primi, and no olive oil, salt, or pepper. It was hard not to miss that other guests were given these things without issue. To make matters worse, we often didn’t even get the chance to ask for something, as the hostess rarely looked our way. It’s worth mentioning that the evening before, when we passed by, a young man was working and he was extremely friendly and welcoming. So, it’s clearly not always bad service. Sadly, on this occasion, the service put a damper on what could have been a wonderful evening, despite the excellent food and lovely setting.

A truly welcoming place where you can eat very well, with carefully prepared food. The atmosphere is pleasant, perfect for a pleasant meal. The staff is friendly and helpful. Recommended!
