Cascina Marchesa In Torino

We had Christmas dinner, about twenty of us. Everything was perfect, from the food to the service. I really enjoyed it.

Born and raised in Turin. I pass by Corso Regina and Pellerina Park every day, and today, for the first time in my life, I had lunch at this lovely restaurant. The building is clearly visible from the main street, and I always thought it was some sort of monument/office building not open to the public. The menu is a mix of meat and fish with Piedmontese influences. They also offer traditional grilled meats like sausage and ribs. The restaurant is truly beautiful, so much so that they also host events like weddings and parties (the checkered floor is truly impressive). The waiter was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. A pleasant discovery in my hometown.

We stayed in this hotel for a business trip. The room was very large but it didn't seem very clean. You could feel the floor sticking under your feet as you walked. The bathroom was so-so. There was mold in the shower. The only downside was the very bright light from the emergency exit sign, which was really annoying. The room was super quiet, the bed was quite comfortable. The price was a bit high. The breakfast was excellent.

Cascina Marchesa is located within a park where you can enjoy a tranquility similar to that of the countryside despite being in the city. You can reach it by car, but please note that access is limited by the one-way road. Furthermore, the maps indicate that you must walk the last 100 meters on a small road, which is paved but appears to be reserved for pedestrians walking in the park.

I stopped for a business lunch and came to these conclusions: 1) The location is beautiful and surrounded by greenery, yet not far from the main roads, making it easy to reach. 2) I can't rate the resort, but if it's as good as the food, I'd say it's definitely okay. 3) The menu is varied and deserves a closer look. The lunch menu offers a choice of two first courses and two second courses (I would have tried them all), and the dishes were just the right amount, excellent, and of high quality. It's clear they're prepared with experience, professionalism, and, last but not least, on-the-spot. The prices are in line with the quality, and €22 for a first course, second course with side dish, water, a good glass of wine, and coffee seems like the minimum. 4) Every time I'm in the area, I'll definitely be back. Compliments to the chef and the rest of the staff!

I tried the restaurant but not the rooms. The menu is very interesting, but the food could be improved. Some dishes were too flavorful, others too much.
