Restaurant with gourmet offerings in a rustic setting: a mix you don't expect. Dinner for 2 with table reservation specifically in front of the fireplace, a request that was accepted without any problem. The menu is predominantly meat-based with a fish option per course. Starter, first course and Fiorentina were our choices, all meat-based. The evening begins with the entree and the selection of bread products, then continuing with the choices from the menu. From the point of view of the raw material, the quality is unquestionable, as is the care of the dish. Perhaps Fiorentina itself had a flaw: the exquisite meat is paired with grilled vegetables and roasted potatoes which however have plenty of oil. The result is a saturated palate that is unlikely to appreciate the meat.
In my opinion, we need to work a little more on the service. I saw the waiters interacting in a very friendly way with some guests, probably regular guests, but their presence at our table was almost completely missing. The family atmosphere is a double-edged sword, since on the one hand it makes everything less formal, on the other it could be perceived as a lack of attention for the guest. We actually felt that way.
Account in line with the quality of the material and attention to detail.
Overall it is definitely a great place, which does not meet my personal tastes in terms of furnishings and atmosphere, but which satisfies the palate.

Più che una cascina, sembra una casa privata, scaldata da un grande camino che divide due ambienti: l’accoglienza dalla pancia piena. Una cantina ben fornita e una bella presentazione di bottiglie, intro di una tradizione regionale rivisitata. Ma che cavolo! non è un’imprecazione, ma una montagnetta di cavoli fritti che preparano il palato a piatti ben più elaborati. I ravioli e gli gnocchi saziano allo sguardo e nascondono sapori di folclore locale e buoni ingredienti. La griglia finale sa di affumicato senza pervadere il locale. Conto onesto per la fatica spesa in cucina. Servizio educato.
