Francesco was an absolute legend. So welcoming, kind and provided us with the most authentic and delicious food from Genova which was all made on site, from scratch. What a privilege. Grazie per un pranzo magnifico!!

At Cascina Castello we felt at home. Very good food and everything homemade or local. Excellent Ciliegiolo wine. Very kind and helpful staff. Wonderful place in the middle of nature. Also great with children. The road to get there is a little narrow at the end, but it's worth it.

very beautiful location surrounded by greenery, excellent food from starters to desserts at the right price. ps: the navigator made us take the wrong route, the correct one to follow is in the direction of serra ricco coming from Genoa.

Tranquility and silence are the watchwords. They use wholemeal flour and everything is very tasty. Mixed starter, nettle fettuccine with sauce, wonderful wholemeal flour mandillos with pesto. The second courses are meatballs with sauce and really good steaks. Friendly and polite staff. Fast and well-managed service. Really good chocolate tart with berry jam. Advise.

Locale in zona isolata, molto tranquilla, con tanto di animali in stato di semilibertà e con cui si può interagire. Locale piccolo ma carino, conduzione famigliare, un angolo di Calabria in terra genovese! Qualita e prodotti top, della zona e quasi a km zero, servizio informale e piacevole anche se un po’ lento e forse improvvisato. In definitiva abbiamo mangiato bene, ci siamo divertiti e torneremo volentieri. Prezzi nella media o forse qualcosa meno ancora

If they don't take you there you almost won't find it. But the short trip (from Genoa) is absolutely worth it. Splendid location, really good food. Also excellent for families with children.

Pranzo di Natale in famiglia, tutti molto soddisfatti e ultra sazi! Molti antipasti della cucina ligure, ravioli fantastici , arrosto ottimo e dolci fatti in casa. Ingredienti tutti a km0 di alta qualità. Da non dimenticare gli ottimi vini piemontesi! Continuate così, torneremo al disgelo per goderci i tavolini all'aperto. Grazie Francesco!

11/07/2025: A wonderful discovery in the Scoffera area. Attentive and friendly service, we truly enjoyed a delightful early summer evening in a family-run restaurant. Truly delicious dishes: exquisite tagliolini with mushrooms and herbs, delicious venison, and a truly worthy egg-based main course. And then the dessert, a reinterpretation of the Saint Honoré tart, delicious—we could have eaten six plates. We'll definitely be back to try the fish dishes. We're so happy!
06/07/2025: A discovery that is good for the heart, as well as the belly! My wife and I went to this restaurant, almost by chance. It is true that good things happen when you least expect them. Davide welcomes us, a rare kindness, attentive, friendly, passionate and the true creator of the dishes (unique, you will not find them anywhere), as well as a wine expert. Raw materials of excellent quality, from the vegetables and flowers from their biodynamic garden, to the Cabannina meat and the fish (which we will assign next time), which is selected only from a certain area of ​​the Ligurian Sea. The dishes: a dandelion risotto with candied celery, cream of peas and jasmine flowers! A surprising and balanced taste, truly delicious. Corn tacos with hummus and seasonal vegetables with dozens of colorful edible flowers that gave an overwhelming aroma in the mouth. A Genoese mixed fry like the one of the past, fried very well, light and crunchy and not at all greasy. An egg pochette with fondue on top of a brioche bread dipped in a tomato sauce... crazy! Not to mention the desserts: it would be worth going just for those! I couldn't even describe them again but they left us speechless for their taste and lightness. All this while drinking a delicious Ciliegiolo and finishing with a digestive of their production with herbs from their garden. We finish the dinner and go to meet the chef and pastry chef, two very kind and super friendly Genoese gentlemen. We were very happy, the people first and then what we ate really moved us. We will return as soon as possible!

19/05/2025: A young, dedicated chef, a professional restaurant team, a friendly welcome, and a menu featuring local dishes and classic Italian cuisine. Excellent advice on wine pairings (highly recommended) to accompany the dishes. If only we lived in Genoa, we'd be regulars.
