The main reason why you have to visit Casa Venezia is of course the homemade ice cream. You can occasionally find unusual varieties here. My favorite, which I unfortunately only found once, was Menta Naturale. White ice cream with peppermint. There were even real little peppermint leaves in there. Not this typical turquoise after eight ice cream. Of course, this is also available for people who want their usual food. 😁 Andrea please do Menta Naturale again 😉. The new lemonades are also very good and unique. As an oregano lover, I personally recommend the Foccacia Crocante for food. A sandwich with cheese, ham and lots of oregano. Super tasty. Unfortunately this year there was a little less oregano on it but I'm sure that was an exception.

This ice cream parlor/restaurant is a dream for every ice cream connoisseur. Especially the friendliness of the waiter SIMONE 👍😍, as well as the entire team. Greetings from Kleve from ENRICO.

The best ice cream on the square is here! The ice cream is made here in-house and therefore tastes great! Service and ambience top! Fast and friendly service. Are here almost every evening.

The pizzas were a new experience in Italy. We were more familiar with the thick bases from flatbread. However, they were really tasty and manageable despite the first impression. We ordered several and swapped them with each other. But they are all simply delicious. The ambience is of course rather simple with the metal tables and not necessarily restaurant style. However, we were again positively impressed by the child-friendly service. In our opinion, the ice cream that is produced under the same roof is the best at UnionLido.

07/12/2024: I must admit this turned out to be quite a positive surprise! I needed a quick bite to sustain me through the last leg of a fairly long trip. I hadn't had tramezzini in a long time and Bontà offered quite a good selection. The display though didn't look too appealing. Condensation on the glass made it hard to see. Plus many tramezzini were covered by part napkins. But then the real test, the eating, was very positive. I would have happily had a second one if I didn't have dinner waiting for me. The bartender was very gentle once I could get her attention. The first attempt to do so wasn't very fruitful as she was fully focused on talking with a friend and ignored the fact that I was waiting at the counter. I had to come back a few mins later to finally be able to order.
