We stumbled upon this place by chance and finished our meal in heaven! A true Italian tavern with delicious local cuisine! And fabulous gluten-free options galore. A must for those with intolerances!

The Tuscan crostini bread was a bit too dry. On the other hand, the pizzas were excellent, cooked well and with a nice thickness of dough that, even after a few minutes,
still retains the heat from cooking. I recommend this place. 👍

The food is very good, the pizzas are delicious, well cooked and with fresh ingredients, the atmosphere is a bit noisy and the waiters are unprofessional in some ways, they took away my glass with prosecco before I finished... The same with the amaro.... Apart from this detail, (we tolerate it 😂) I recommend it because the food is really good

Casamatta is a pizzeria restaurant with a wide menu, ranging from meat to fish, pizza, and vegan options... basically, something for everyone.
The atmosphere is overwhelming considering its size, but efficient. The waiters are superb in everything. There's not much parking considering its capacity, but parking is available almost everywhere I've seen, so it's easy to find.
We had the pizza, and it was good, medium-high with a small rib around the edges. The options... are endless.
I think the prices are a few euros high, but we're in Florence near the famous "Otel" and a campsite, so that's fair enough.
I'll try to go back for the fish because it's tempting.

Super place.... Very good pizza, I had the whole wheat dough, but also the first courses were delicious, what can I say about the good desserts and generous portions... Must try... And fast service and smiling staff

Food was great, me and my man always eat here whenever we go on the campsite nearby, but the last time was disappointing, there's a waiter flirting with my man, she keeps smiling at him but never smiled at me, and when we are about to leave, she quickly come near and bump into him saying "thank you" while she's still touching him shoulder to shoulder, she only looks at him, "Friendly is different from Flirty"

We were guests at the campsite a few minutes' walk away and stumbled upon the Casamatta restaurant. We were so impressed with the food (especially the pasta al ragú and al limone 🤤🤤🤤), the atmosphere, and the friendly and cheerful staff that we returned the very next day. Everything was fantastic!
