The rock church is beautiful. The visit was excellently organized. But I will remember my stay at Casal Dragone first and foremost for meeting, over an excellent lunch, exceptional and kind people like the estate's owners and their friendly friends and collaborators. For those who love peace and quiet, Casal Dragone is ideal.
The location is excellent, the home cooking is excellent, and the owners are wonderful. Finally, a visit to the Crypt of Original Sin is a must. You can't find anything better in this corner of Basilicata.

Nice small winery, food is simple but very tasty, local veggies, very good bread, wine was perfect. I recommend it if one doesn’t like crowds.

We stayed from 10 to 14 September 2025, the staff were friendly and helpful, the room was beautiful and the food was excellent, it was like being with family with mum and dad.

We had a short stay from August 29th to 31st with my family...near Matera, in a peaceful haven, a tranquil setting in a farmhouse with truly meticulous attention to detail...
Not to mention everyone's warmth and kindness. Carmela, beyond her sweetness, spoiled us with her delicacies, delicious cakes 😋 the breakfast is amazing...what can I say? If you're in the area, you have to go there 😊

Ci siamo fermati per caso dopo la visita alla chiesa rupestre del peccato originale. Ottime le polpette di pane e strepitosa la pasta con il sugo di salsiccia e il vino molto buono . Inoltre si possono acquistare anche i prodotti fatti da loro. Consigliatissimo
