Excellent food and products! The best Lucanian wine, and Aldo and Carmela are the essence of freedom and dedication to their work!

Carmela is wonderful... I'll start with her, the soul and strength of this corner of exquisite goodness. This agriturismo, close yet so far removed from the banality of Matera's tourist offerings, won us over with the authenticity of the products served on our plates... the tarallini, the oil, the bread, the cruschi, the turnip tops, the exquisite dishes, and the wine (Il Dono)... it's all so inspiring!!

For those who don't know the place, it's worth a visit, especially for the chapel.

We stayed at this property for the weekend to visit the living nativity scene in Matera. The entire property is rustic in style, including the room, but it has all the modern conveniences (large TV, air conditioning, spacious bathroom with a new shower). Furthermore, the room is quite spacious, including a very comfortable double bed, a sofa, a desk, a large mirror, and a spacious wardrobe. The room also opens onto a very spacious private terrace, allowing you to enjoy a wonderful view of the countryside and the peace of nature. I'd like to give the cleanliness 10 out of 5 stars, but that's not possible. Breakfast is included in the room rate, and it's plentiful and tasty, whether you prefer a savory or sweet breakfast (freshly squeezed juice, various homemade desserts, cheeses and cured meats, coffee, or various herbal teas). As for the restaurant, we had lunch on the day of arrival, and I definitely recommend it. The food is good and healthy, and the quality/price ratio is excellent. I also wanted to thank the owner, who was very helpful and kind. She offers the advertised services (Wi-Fi, parking, and a high level of cleanliness) 100 percent, and her hospitality is also wonderful. For those who love nature and are willing to travel from the center of Matera, I wholeheartedly recommend this place.

We found ourselves at the restaurant by chance, after visiting the Crypt of Original Sin. Mrs. Angela is a generous and friendly hostess. We ate authentic and delicious food.

A property just outside Matera, in absolute tranquility and not far from Lake San Giuliano and the Crypt of Original Sin. The rooms are clean and welcoming, and the owners are excellent and friendly. In addition to staying, we sampled their truly excellent home-cooked cuisine, made with locally sourced produce.

A truly beautiful place, top staff, highly recommended.

We ate at the agriturismo during a visit to the Crypt of Original Sin. Everything was absolutely excellent: the appetizer was a platter of cured meats and cheeses, the bruschetta, and the bread balls. And the fried peperoni cruschi. For the first course, homemade pasta with tomato sauce and pezzente sausage, typical of the area. Even the dessert... everything was simply excellent. A journey through the tastes and flavors of Matera.

Carmela and her family are amazing hosts — incredibly kind and flexible with check-in and check-out times. We had to arrive late at night due to our itinerary, and they were very accommodating. Breakfast was delicious and generous, made entirely with local products. The location is great too — very close to the Crypt of the Original Sin and just a short drive from Matera. Highly recommend!

Carmella was fabulous! We loved the food especially the cheese, wine, pastries, and bruschetta! The room was very clean and comfortable. We know very little Italian but if was fun talking with Carmella. We will return.
