04/08/2025: I had lunch with my husband at this restaurant, and it felt like we were in a postcard. The outdoor tables offer a spectacular view.
The food is produced directly on the estate, and the ingredients are all locally sourced, fresh, and seasonal. Even the meat is homegrown... which I absolutely recommend! The staff is polite and professional, ready to recommend and explain the dishes... I recommend you go there and bring that special someone you want to impress!
25/07/2025: Beautiful place immersed in the Umbrian landscape. Definitely off the beaten path. The quality of the produce is very good. Especially the cold cuts (salami, prosciutto) and the Chianina beef taste excellent. We also loved the primi piatti - especially the gnocchi were delicious. The first disappointment came when we were told that only one cut of meat was available for us (the other cut would have been way too much meat for 2, around 1.9 kg), and that they can't cook the meat to your order, but that the meat comes more or less rare and you have to cook it yourself. Unfortunately, the personnel seemed unable to cope with the number of guests - there was simply not enough staff in order to provide a decent service. We had to wait 30 minutes until we could place our order. Next, some of us ordered primi piatti, some didn't. But everyone ordered an appetizer and a secondo piatto. So we would have expected to be served the secondi together - and in between the primi. But the primi arrived together with the secondi for those without primi. The secondi for the other party arrived only more than half an hour later, and only after request. I had ordered a glass of red wine to go with my meat, which I never received. We were never asked whether we wanted something more to drink, the plates were not being removed for a very long time. It was really not the fault of the personnel that suddenly flying ants appeared in droves. But I expect a restaurant at this level and in such a location, where this can happen, to react swiftly and to accommodate everyone inside. Instead, they only reacted when everyone started to flee inside. But for us, this was too late, we had already lost appetite and couldn't enjoy the dinner anymore.
