I've read reviews about this bar that, in my opinion, are completely at odds with my visit.
Both about prices and service.
SERVICE: I came in this morning waiting for a train, having more than an hour to spare. The bartender who served me (a young, brunette with long, curly hair) knows her job GREAT. She's easygoing and chatty in the right way, without being intrusive, and she's also quick to serve all the customers. We struck up a conversation, and she definitely knows how to put customers at ease (and I know the restaurant world because I work there too). I read a lot of comments about terrible and rude service, but I experienced the exact opposite! All bartenders should be like her. So, unfortunately, I think some of you may have been served by someone else...
PRICES: I read "higher than average prices." I spent less than €5 for an espresso, a donut, and a small bottle of water. At a bar on Piazza Vittoria. Expensive? Where? Do you want to try Piazza San Marco in Venice and then we can talk about it? An espresso for €1.30 is a VERY FAIR price.
So, for me, 5 stars. When it's needed, it's needed.
