Given the reviews we expected something better, at 10 on Monday there were two types of croissant left, the cassata was not bad but it was quite frozen inside and the brioche gave the impression of being packaged. Granita €5, cappuccino €3, brioche €1.5 and croissant €2.7, so prices not very low compared to other bars.

Quite simply, the best almond granita from Palermo. Smooth and with powerful aromas.

Delicious granite con brioche to end our trip to Sicily. This traditional breakfast has been a highlight and I really enjoyed this almond flavoured granite as the nutty flavour really came through. Limited non-coffee drinks although that is all of Italy so can’t really hold it against them.

We came around 10am for breakfast, there wasn't much choice left... just a croissant and some small filled cakes. The coffee was good. And the waiters made an effort to understand us when we spoke English.

It was very delicious, the Green coffee and the Sicilian Cannoli are totally recommended.

It's entirely possible that this is the best coffee and cannoli in Palermo.

There are two parts to this place - the shop which has a great range of freshly roasted coffees, and the cafe/restaurant. The shop was spot on. They were very knowledgeable and helped me decide which beans to buy. Well priced and excellent quality. We were encouraged to enjoy the coffee in their restaurant, which we obliged. Things went a bit downhill sadly. We were not offered a warm welcome, we had to ask for a menu then we had to ask how to order. We were told it was table service but the minutes went past and no one came. The staff (all three) were not approachable or warm in any way. I felt an inconvenience to them despite it being relatively quiet. That being said, the coffee itself and the fresh orange juice were great. It just lacked the service to accompany.

An excellent stop before continuing to explore Palermo. Courteous and punctual, a very welcome visit
