A really nice surprise in positano. I totally recommend it!

This was the first restaurant my wife and I ate in Positano, the service was fantastic, the atmosphere was wonderful and the wine pairing was perfect!

This place was sensational.. we stayed in Positano for 5 nights & went here twice it was absolutely amazing. The staff were amazing happy & very attentive .. the atmosphere was fabulous.. but the food & wine .. wow..

This is our favorite restaurant in Positano. The staff is welcoming, attentative, personable and caring. The chef is very talented, preparing the food that is superb, artistically presented, high quality and delicious. Our home is a few minutes away, so even at times, when we are casually dressed, we are treated like royalty. Do not skip the dessert - it is all fantastic!

We did not stay in this hotel but enjoyed the gourmet restaurant. Each dish was a work of art. The flavors were unique and distinct. The service was also fantastic.

Delicious food and lovely service! Chef was happy to prepare vegan dishes for my partner and I, including complementary bruschetta and gelati! Highly recommend!

Fantastic tasting menus. My favorite spot in Positano.

I’m in such a fabulous food coma I can’t write much, but just come here. This was the best pizza we’ve ever had, and an exceptional customer service/authentic Italian experience. 10/10!!!!

Chef Salvatore DeMicco is nothing short of a food artist. My husband & I did the tasting menu at €100 per person. Well worth it; a steal actually. It was the best meal we’ve had in Italy. Each dish was an experience; beautifully prepared, absolutely delicious and served with such attention & care. The servers were the most attentive we’ve had in Italy. They explained every detail of the creative dishes. My only suggestion for you is to pace yourself and leave room for the desserts; there are several. I would venture to say that the desserts themselves are a tasting menu of their own. Thank you Casa Mele and Chef Salvatore.

This was our first night of a 14-night Italian adventure and we were already a day late due to flight issues. We were jet lagged and very sweaty by the time we meandered up the hill to this amazing restaurant. While we did not get a view from the restaurant, the food makes up for it. We informed them immediately that we had a person with Celiac at the table and they accommodated her beautifully. In the states it is difficult for her to eat in some restaurants, but in Italy, it is like this place was meant to be found for her. Right on their website, you can view the menu and filter on the items that are gluten free. Was amazing, so she had everything picked out before we even got there. The sommelier brought over the wine list, and we picked a white wine from San Gimignano, and it was crisp and lovely. We ordered two appetizers for the table being the Amberjack Carpaccio and the Scampi. Both were absolutely incredible, but the Amberjack was absolutely incredible. They brought out bread for the table, and lo and behold, they had gluten free homemade breadsticks for her! She was so thrilled! For our next course, I, my niece and nephew all got the risotto, and it was just delicious. My husband got the sea bass, and it was yummy! My nephew decided to try another course in there and got the beef, and it too was incredible. We followed our meal with dessert, and I got the lemon dessert which comes shaped like a lemon (when in the amalfi coast, right?). We also tried the chocolate dessert, and they made her a gluten free tiramisu. We ordered a round of limoncello and it was definitely the best we had our entire trip to Italy. They also served little treats that were also homemade that were fabulous! I cannot say enough good things about this location, especially for if you suffer from gluten allergies.
