An experience absolutely worth trying. Refined dishes but with an eye to tradition, kind and competent staff. I can say, highly recommended

Superb! We came back the next evening to further sample and enjoy their terrific menu.

Santo cielo, acabo de tener la experiencia gastronómica más increíble! Estábamos en un grupo de viaje por Italia y habíamos estado descontentos con las recomendaciones gastronómicas hechas por nuestro guía hasta ahora. Busqué ideas en línea y me topé con este restaurante. Tuvo críticas brillantes y algunos mencionaron sentarse en la mesa del chef, así que reservamos una reserva a las 7 pm y seleccionamos la mesa del chef, que es un bar a la izquierda de la cocina abierta con 4 sillas donde tienes vista completa y puedes ver cada movimiento del chef. Qué guay. Llegamos y fuimos los únicos en el lugar, ya que los italianos locales no salen a cenar hasta alrededor de las 9 pm. No sé por qué comen tan tarde. De todos modos nos sentamos en el bar y fuimos ayudados inmediatamente por Angelo. Conseguimos pan y agua y le pedí una recomendación de vino para ir con los Raviolis de calabaza con Ragu de jabalí y me sugirió un Chianti que era perfecto y no soy realmente un tipo Sangiovese. La esposa pidió el aperitivo de pulpo y yo tomé la sopa de calabaza con hongos Porcini. Normalmente no me gustan las setas o el pulpo pero pensé en escogerlas. Bueno, tuve una prueba del pulpo de la esposa y me gustó. Todavía era un poco raro, pero ni de lejos tan duro y masticable como otros que tenía anteriormente. Tenía una textura más gambas. También pude comer aproximadamente la mitad de los hongos en mi sopa y normalmente quiero escupir hongos inmediatamente cuando los pruebo. Obviamente un testimonio de lo increíble que es un chef cristiano. De todos modos pasamos la noche comiendo comida deliciosa y hablando con Christian sobre cómo su novia es de California y cómo el restaurante recibió su nombre. En general, esta fue una de las mejores experiencias gastronómicas que he tenido en mi vida y no puedo recomendar este restaurante lo suficientemente alto. No puedo esperar a volver. Ahora siento que estoy un poco consentida y cada vez que salgo a comer quiero sentarme a la mesa del chef. Seguro que algunos de los lugareños empezaron a venir alrededor de las 8: 30 cuando estábamos preparándonos para irnos. Pero fue increíble tener este increíble restaurante para nosotros.

Una corta visita a Maiori significó encontrar un lugar para comer diferente del resto! Por suerte para nosotros, pudimos encontrar CM, como dijo Google Maps # 10 y fue # 6 en Via Casa Mannini. Una mujer agradable fuera del restaurante nos hizo seguirla dentro de un restaurante moderno y elegante con comida increíble e innovadora! Angelo era nuestro camarero y él ERA un ángel! Hablaba inglés maravilloso y fue lo suficientemente amable para hablar conmigo en mi italiano limitado. Interpretó el dicho de papá, que estaba escrito en dialecto neopolitano en la pared, ¡lo que no pude entender en absoluto! (Juntos somos fuertes, solos no somos nada) Elegimos un entrante de pulpo el Crema de calabaza con brócoli. Mi marido tenía un plato casero de pasta con champiñones porcini y guanciale. Tenía el tortello relleno de puerros sobre crema de coliflor con carpaccio de atún encima. El postre era una crema rellena de crema de avellanas sobre crema de limón. Fue una comida especial y sin prisas para saborear...

What an amazing dining experience I had! Came here as suggested by a local friend of mine. I must say that unfortunately I wasn’t very hungry when I walked in because I had a pre dinner aperitif but the good news is that I have an excuse to come back soon because I absolutely want to try more courses. It’s an open kitchen restaurant, I had dinner at the counter facing the chef Christian and Pierpaolo. Alfonso, that runs the restaurant with his brother, works on the floor. I also have to mention Maria, a fantastic woman who I had the pleasure to converse with. I had the codfish that was excellent. I already know what to order next time! Forget about the usual seafood restaurant of the Amalfi coast, here you don’t just go to satisfy your appetite but it’s a real culinary experience.

So good we had to go back a second time this week. This time, we allowed the chef to choose. He started with the anchovies. My husband and I do not like anchovies in the slightest, but we decided to be adventurous and are so grateful we did. It followed with the stuffed pasta, then a seared pork belly, and finally with a Tiramisu dessert. Debating going back a 3rd time before we leave Maiori.

This was an incredible restaurant! Dined here in September 2024. The food and service was exceptional! The zucchini Parmesan was outstanding! I have a number of food allergies and they took my list and recommended dishes that I could eat. Didn’t blink! Laid back, lovely atmosphere, everything was wonderful. Not for children, in my opinion. Casual enough for nice shorts. Lovely, lively staff!! Thank you for a yummy evening!

A really nice find in Māori. Open since 2018 and the two brothers continue to keep the theme fresh - food was executional and very attentive service. Called ahead for vegan and they really did a nice job - fresh veg and eggless pasta! Nice regional wine recommendations made the dining experience very memorable. Definitively recommend checking it out

The employees are very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately we didn't like the taste of the food. Visually everything was great. The tiramisu in particular was very bitter and I'm afraid to say it was one of the worst I've ever eaten. We ordered two pasta dishes, a tiramisu, two drinks (cola) and a soup. We paid €95 for this, which I don't think is justified.

This was our best dinner in Italy! The dishes were very high quality, server was very knowledgable with great recommendations and the food was 10/10. I suggest this to anyone visiting the area.
