Casa Maggiolina In Grottaferrata

We went to this restaurant to celebrate a birthday. We opted for an à la carte menu: casa maggiolina appetizer, tagliatelle with wild boar ragù (white), lamb chops...what can I say, everything was delicious! Excellent food quality, family atmosphere not too noisy, also suitable for children. Update. About a year later, we returned to celebrate our son's communion. The location is very beautiful and cared for in detail, the food was excellent, the flavors were right, balanced... all the guests were very satisfied. The staff was attentive to every need; just the right amount of time to fully enjoy the celebration. We recommend it with our eyes closed... the pork salad is top...

What can I say...we celebrated our wedding here yesterday. Perfect service, super food and guaranteed fun. We ourselves didn't believe it was possible to make things go so well. Recommended is an understatement. Riccardo and Francesca

Lovely place near Grottaferrata, an old house (where the owners live) with a garden with wooden tables and paper placemats, with a wonderful terrace. Ask for tables in the zen garden or choose the outside. I didn't really like the lemon ice cream that didn't seem artisanal. Pasta salad vegetables everything was excellent. Normal portions. Lariano bread in the typical baker's view. Which however all the restaurants take away even though it was paid for and it would be better to be able to take it home instead of throwing it away. Place settings and bread 3 euros per person Consider the paper placemats a bit much. Attentive service. Returned Tried the courgette flowers with spinach risotto (which are certainly not the best vegetables) and the cacio e ovo meatballs which were not satisfying for me. There are no seasonal vegetables unless specifically requested (peppers) All in all there are better in the area Too bad about the beautiful garden.

You can't eat together with groups that are celebrating some ceremony and making noise! ​​These should be put separately in a secluded place by themselves.

The menu is extensive, with an excellent variety of dishes, including pizzas (which we did not have the opportunity to try, but they looked inviting). It is the ideal place to rest after a day spent exploring the surroundings. The raw materials are of high quality and are noticeable in every dish. The staff was welcoming, kind and helpful. Location molto bella e con ampio parcheggio, immersa nel verde. Cucina semplice ma efficace, che segue le stagionalità. Consigliato

Bottiglie di acqua veramente sporche, con delle cose strane bianche attaccate all’interno. Veramente un peccato perché il locale è delizioso, il cibo anche, la pizza devo dire che anche migliorata nel tempo. Ma non ci siamo con l’acqua, dato che non è la prima volta. L’ho riferito ai camerieri nelle diverse occasioni, che le bottiglie non erano pulite, mala situazione è comunque rimasta invariata. Mi dispiace perché mi piaceva molto
