Having arrived here by pure chance after a visit to the excavations, we were intrigued by the menu with a limited number of proposals which usually implies care and dedication for the raw materials and indeed this was the case. From the appetizer to the dessert you can perceive the passion and love for the product. The welcome is warm but never intrusive. I hope to return to this small restaurant with a big heart as soon as possible!

Local located in via Lepanto in Pompeii pedestrian area which gives the place an edge without car noise and smog with the possibility of having a chat while walking between one course and another.
As soon as you enter Casa Gallo you are greeted by Salvatore Vitiello who with immense joy makes you truly feel the warmth of home and between a chat and a laugh he accompanies you to the table and helps you with every request.
The cuisine is of the highest quality followed by the patron chef Vincenzo Cascone who really puts his heart into it and guides and advises you in a 360° experience in his idea of refined cuisine.
Well what can I say if you want to feel as comfortable as at home and want to spend a nice evening in joy and harmony and above all eat good food I highly recommend relying on the staff of CASA GALLO.

Sono andato a mangiare ieri con dei miei amici e ci siamo presi un ottimo crudo di pesce e un ottimo piatto di ravioli con ricotta e parmigiano e con un condimento di crema di zucca, noci e speck. I ravioli sono stati ottimi. Ci torneremo.

Molto pubblicizzato tra gli operatori della zona, ma il servizio è da migliorare: tono di voce alto. Qualità abbastanza buona, anche se troppo scarsa la porzione di polpo rispetto al prezzo.
La grigliata di pesce poco varia e comunque improprio il salmone ai ferri.
Qualità/prezzo sbilanciata.

We went with my wife and daughter for dinner in October. The menu was the autumn one, and I always gladly recommend restaurants that change their menus according to the season. We were inside given the slightly humid evening, the staff immediately welcomed us with great friendliness. They also arranged a high chair for the baby as requested. We started with an off-menu seafood souté. Fasulari, mussels, clams and razor clams all fresh. Also as an appetizer we tasted fried calamari on chickpea and rosemary cream. I asked for an oyster and I must say really delicious, fresh, full and tasty. As first courses we chose the cannelloni with ricotta and fish, with rosé seafood soutè. Recommended dish. To taste one of the second courses, we chose the cod stuffed with tempura mozzarella with cauliflower cream and papacelle. Really enjoyed this dish too. To finish I tasted a hot caprese with a classic Jefferson amaro. Total dinner €101 for two. I have to say that I had heard about it, but I hadn't tried this restaurant yet. I was very satisfied. The place is a bit small, but sometimes it's an understandable choice when you prefer to give space to quality and not quantity. We will definitely return later, perhaps to try the new winter menu.
